Stopped by to shop at the factory outlet adjoining the mill. Got some bedsheets, towels and cushion covers. Quality is good. No french influence on the goods sold!!!

I have visited this place in almost all my previous Pondicherry visits. I was disappointed to know that mill is already closed and they now just clearing up there available stocks.We still manage to buy few cotton stuff, but now very limited variety

The AFT as it is known was once a mammoth textile mill founded by the French people and known for its quality and variety. But it has been systematically killed by the local politicians for their own petty benefit. This mill is now DEFUNCT and does not manufacture anything. The vast premises have become a safe ground for hooligans and rowdy elements and it will be very soon sold as prime real estate and that will be RIP AFT..
