Went in for a drink here last week (Feb 2017) and ordered two drinks. After handing over a €20 note, I was given €8 change. I asked the young barman how much my drinks were and he said €12. I think the look on my face must have said it all. About a minute later the barman came round to... More

As the title says, still a horrible desperate dump with an atmosphere worse than its reputation!...drinking cider from a brown paper bag on a park bench would be a lot more enjoyable, welcoming, hospitable and entertaining than this crap house!..there's no reason at all why anyone would set foot in there considering the amount of good lower priced higher standard welcoming bars nearby.... I'm here for two months and can only comment on my own experience each time we visit Bar39. We don't eat there nor drink anything other than beer so cannot add either way to comments on other factors mentioned here. If I'm being totally honest there was an issue a few years ago which I'm glad to report has never... More

Puzzled by signs insisting you must have a drink to use a seat. Had one drink, didn't like the place and left. For the price there are far nicer bars than this. Couldn't understand why it was so busy. Won't be back.

Excellent service. Great atmosphere. The staff are pleasant and friendly. Still the worlds hardest working barmaid. Great entertainment. The resident duo, "Kracka" have an amazing and varied repertoire from the 60's through to modern times. The tribute acts are very entertaining but look a lot like the two guys in Kracka. Most nights, there is a support act as well.... More

Stopped for a drink a couple of times and watched the entertainment, two guys covered all types of music and did several tribute acts which created a good atmosphere

Visited bar39 on our first holiday to Los Cristianos. Our hotel was up the hill so popped in one night to save us walking up and down the hill. Staff wait on the tables. British drinks. Good entertainment. They also do snacks. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there and hope to return next year.

I came here as a group of 4, 2 couples, having been for a meal in Los Cristianos. My partner and I were full and only wanted a bottle of water to share whereas the others were ordering beer and baileys. We were told we couldn't share a drink and it was a drink per person which in itself was... More
