Amazing beaches with soft golden sand and azure waters. Due to the windy ocean it is a well-known spot for surfers. It is very enjoyable to benefit of nice relaxing hours in the sun and chill down in the waves of the ocean. Small squirrels are everywhere in between the rocks.

A short walk from the hotel you can walk for miles along this beach. Investigate the stone windbreakers at the edge of the beach it is amazing how much shelter from the wind they give you

The most beautiful beach I have ever seen ! If you go to Fuerteventura you must visit this place. It was a bit windy day and the waves were really fun! We really enjoyed it with my family!

Visited during kite surfing championships, massive beach which turns into a shallow lagoon when the tide comes in, lasts a couple of hours then goes out with the tide,

This is definitely one the most beautiful playas of the world, and is calm and safe from the wind, wide and empty not too far to walk from Costa Calma,

Two great rental locations at Melia and Ion Windsurf and Kite Centers. Unlike the wavier north coast of Flag Beach or Cotillo here it is bump and jump and very windy. For regular beach goers and swimmers, if you like wind great if not think again they have the world wind speed events here.

We visited this beach twice during our stay. The first time we left pretty quickly due to the strong wind whipping up sand and making it very unpleasant for everyone. The second time the wind was gentler and the sea was calm enough for even our young children to swim without worry. We stayed all day and enjoyed it thoroughly.... More
