Very nice little beach, enjoyed by lots of tourists, a little bit protected in windy periods. Pefect place for snorkeling, many fishes on the area. It could be better if tourists would not throw bread on the water to feed the fishes...

We were staying next door in the Hotel Grand Tequise but I was never tempted by the pools after swimming af this beach on our first day. In fact, I bought a snorkel and swam nearly every day observing the amazing variety of wildlife beneath the waves. The only days I didn't swim the waves were crashing in. The beach is protected by a breakwater and is usually calm and clear waters. There is a lifeguard most of the day with an advisory flag system in place. The only downside is it can get busy when the local dive centre is training groups here, but I floated around them!

hotels and beaches, beaches and hotels, sand and stones... this is the touristic corner of Lanzarote with accomodations lining up along the seashore. beaches are great for families with kids, as it is sandy and flat. not for us, but some people seem to like it.

Such a wonderful place. The water is so clear. We saw all sorts of wildlife. The water was obviously a bit chilly initially but we still had a great time. We arrived quite early and there wasn’t too many people. My favourite thing to do was feeding the fish! Someone had told me to bring a banana and they devoured it! There are showers and toilets nearby too which is a bonus. There is the opportunity to hire sunbeds but I’m not sure how to / how much. I would love to visit here again some day!

Not a large beach and parts have rocks. This is a wholly natural beach, not some area that's been cleared out by humans, landscaped and filled with planted trees and sunbeds.
The sand is soft and warm even in March, and the waters are so inviting and clear. One gets a sense of being close to nature here, it calms the soul.
And those waters.....take goggles and preferably a snorkel and just a minute's swim away are shoals of fish including some unusual tropical species. Gentle currents so the water is safe for novice swimmers. If you have an underwater camera, you'll kick yourself for not bringing it.
There are showers at both ends of the beach and toilets at one end. When my wife and I went in mid March 2022 there was a mix of adults and families with kids, all enjoying the delights of this beach. From the rock pools at the edge where the toddlers plodged around to the ocean where people were swimming and snorkelling.

Tuesday 16th July we visited to coastal resort of Costa Teguise located on the east coast of Lanzarote.
We walked along the coastal pathway which led us to this beach. It is predominantly a stretch of golden sand with black lava rocks protruding.
With a width of about 200 metres it is the smallest beach in Costa Teguise. The beach is protected by man-made breakwaters with large rocks at both ends of the beach. This creates a safe and calm pool, ideal swimming conditions for all ages.
Despite it's size there are a lot of amenities here, sunbeds and umbrellas are available to rent. There are showers, toilets, a ramped access and disabled facilities. There is a lifeguard on duty all year round
The coastal pathway is along the back of the beach where the windmills de El Jablillo are located. There are shops and cafés nearby.

This little cove is just amazing. We went almost every day of the 14 day holiday and every day was different. This beach is for snorkelling. The fish are like pets. Many people were just standing knee deep feeding the fish, amazing!!
It does get really busy especially on Sundays, so go early enjoy a few hours swimming with the fish it will be worth it.

My favourite beach in Costa Teguise, with free parking, showers and toilets and a resident portacabin with lifeguards.
The beach which is visibly stunning, is protected by a crescent shaped breakwater which makes it safer, it is ideal for snorkeling, diving swimming and just relaxing on the beach. There are sunbeds and parasols for daily hire

We visited Playa Del Jablillo after a recommendation from people we met on holiday who said it was amazing and it didn’t let us down! The cove was absolutely beautiful and the sea was crystal clear so you could see the little fish swimming around your ankles. The sea was initially very chilly but once I was used to it, swimming in the sea was just perfect!
The little beach was very busy with people snorkelling and sitting on the beach but there were quiet places further along the beach which were perfect for relaxing and peaceful for taking in the beautiful views and sunshine.
Great free shower facilities for when you need to wash off all the sand before you leave!
Made a perfect day out for us and I’d definitely recommend if you’re staying in Costa Teguise.

One of the best beaches I've been too. The beach is only small and has some rocky areas that can make it a little difficult if you have trouble walking. This is the only downside I found.
There are so many fish in this man made cove. It has a braker barrier to the open ocean so there are little currents and it safe to swim as doesn't get too deep around 15 feet at high tide.
If you're going here bring a snorkel, I spent hours put there mesmerised by the fish. Water is clear and calm and grat for young kids as there are plenty of rock pools that have little fish that kids will love. Be careful not to leave your towel too close to the water as it comes in quick and take it away.
There was a man selling drinks and ice cream, toilets and lifeguard also. Missing it already.

Coastline just a five minute walk away. Head left along coast path and arrive at beautiful small beach, ideal for families. Would guess about 15 minutes walk in total. Larger beach just around headland about another ten minutes.
Lots of cafes and refreshments on hand. Enjoy
