We did a guided tour as newly qualified and part qualified divers.
Initial correspondence with Michi was perfect and she showed a lot of patience with answering my questions and trying her best to accommodate our needs. I’m a qualified open water diver and my young daughter is on her way to qualification so had a bit of a hybrid tour.
The whole process was seemless and as mentioned, they went out of their way to ensure we could dive in the most appropriate manner. Our guide Axel was excellent! He made the dives fun whilst maintaning the level of safety that is required whilst diving. We got to see some great underwater wildlife and Axel seemed to have little spots where fish could be found but where no other divers were.
Huge thank you to Axel for everything and the team for all their help.

My second time diving with Michi & Goetz and my sons first real dive since qualifying. Michi and her team did everything to make our first dives together memorable. My son was made to feel safe and comfortable by Michi for his first big dive! Safety is paramount and all procedures were fully explained. We had a fantastic time. The whole team are truely professional and knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. Highly recommended!

Yet again, Goetz, Michi, and the team were excellent.
I came back here with a small group of lady divers. Age ranges 39 to 67. Abilities from 20 to 800+ dives. All BSAC ( I was the only PADI diver), they varied in their certifications, too. The planning of the dives catered for us all. We all learnt so much before and after each dive on diving knowledge, relating to diving. Between dives tea and biscuits were complimentary and very welcome. I'm back in a few weeks for more of this excellent service.

Mine and my brother’s first dives since completing our PADI Open Water Divers in 2022. The team were amazing, putting nerves at ease. Very impressed all the way from admin to completion. Also fabulous to have to opportunity of having a photographer dive with us to capture our experience. Axel, Borja and Goetz gave us such a personal experience, we will definitely be coming back to Daivoon for diving in Lanzarote! Thank you so much!

My third time diving in Lanzerotte and dived with many centres over the years but these guys are simply the best.
I’ll start with Goetz and Michaela the owners - they run a relaxed but well organised centre. As a solo female traveller I was made to feel so welcome; very friendly centre with everyone laughing and smiling. Great lively atmosphere, all the paperwork was done, kit sorted without any sense of rush or urgency but was extremely well organised. Goetz, full of enthusiasm and energy asked if we wanted adventure and boy we got it.
All dives are tailored to your experience and at no time did I feel uncomfortable.
Next is Glyn. What a guy!! He couldn’t have been more helpful and he exudes happiness from every pore. Always there to help and nothing is too much trouble……even when I lost my silver bracelet he found it for me. He’s so informative, passionate about diving and the island in general - he couldn’t do enough. Absolute legend and if you’re reading this Glyn thanks again for helping an older lady with fins, weights and running me to and from the dive centre! Great dive guide!
The centre itself is perfectly positioned to hit the beach and town straight afterwards, also a super Italian cafe next door for a well earned cappuccino. Unless you want to be run home of course.
All the kit felt and looked new, extremely good quality and well looked after. The full kit hire price was the cheapest I’ve ever paid and included a computer. Worked out much cheaper than flying my own kit out and back again.
As for the dive sites they were all spot on. These guys took advantage of the lack of wind and calm seas to travel fair distances to show us some amazing sites. Couple of adventurous entry points but all the while safe and under close scrutiny of the team.
Of course it’s about the diving, which was fantastic as ever, but it’s also about the crew you dive with. In the time I had I managed to get 8 dives in. The atmosphere was contagious with lots of laughs and I never stopped smiling.
I can see why customers rave about this place and keep
coming back. Everyone enjoyed themselves - and that included the team. Can’t praise this set up enough!! If you try these guys once you’ll never go anywhere else!

At the start of the half term, 25 of us left our school and descended on Daivoon. Fresh from the miserable English weather we had 15 beginners and 9 qualified divers excited to get some sunlight and some diving. From the moment we arrived, Michi had everything in hand - from the travel to the food (sublime!) and made sure that everyone was always up to date on what was happening. The team of Goetz, Liam, Michi and Xander kept us busy from 8am to 6pm every day with everyone not only qualifying for their Open Water (a new school record!) but also developing a passion for the science of diving and hopefully a life-long interest in the sea.
A fantastic week, so long and thanks for all the fish!

Lovely dive outfit. Michaela was responsive and helpful on email in advance and she and Geotz were friendly welcoming & helfpul on arrival. I did two super days diving (4 dives) - one with Goetz and one with Glyn, both of who are really interesting with lots of stories - their enthusiasm and passion was a real delight. All dives were enjoyable, well briefed and excellently guided with good and new rental equipment and fantastic support in and out of the water. Most of the other divers were repeat customers which was a good sign. Great visibility(~20m) and 20 degree water with interesting things to see (angel shark, seahorses, nudis, arrowhead spider crabs, eels, scorpion fish, grouper, barracuda and of course smaller fish) and one of the more unusual/memorable exits from a dive at Charco Natural (!). I look forward to coming back and would certainly dive with Daivoon again. Thanks for the great experience, hasta pronto/bis bald and in the meantime, ‘So long and thanks for all the fish’! Andrew (>250 dives).

My 17 yr old son recently completed his open water diving certificate with Daivoon Dive Centre. We are so glad we did, they were very professional and experienced and went beyond and above our expectations. They were also caring and supportive with safety as a top priority. My son was anxious before he started but because of the Daivoon team he loved the experience and now we are at home he is searching out local dive centres to continue diving. He has already told me he would like to complete the advance dive certificate with Daivoon. We would definitely recommend Daivoon as a great Dive centre.

i'm thinking of visiting the area in December week of 5th Dec for the half marathon on the 4th.. are you running in december for a try scuba. i have dived before and have a padi qualification but 18+ years ago.. so not really valid..

Thanky a lot for your message. Of course we offer scuba diving. We do trips daily (except Sunday) between 8:45am and 2 pm. In this time period we do 2 dives at different divesites all around the island.

padi do a "bubblemaker" dive for 8 to 12 year olds. They may do this for her. My 8 year old son just done it in Egypt. He loved it!

It is always best to reserve a place via mail. No problem to do different appointments, as we have groups nearly every day. You can also come to the center at the beginning of your stay, to talk about options and dates. Thats no problem as well.

I would like to ask me and my boyfriend are going in late September to Lanzarote Costa Teguise, we watch the fun, and we found you :) and you are very interested us, I therefore take this opportunity to ask what we need to do to be able to go under water? Hello Radka,
We do Discover Scuba Diving for beginners. That means you get an introduction to the basics of diving, the equipment and an instructor goes with you into the sea. You can pay 60€ for one dive, or 99€ for two dives. We dive at our local bay, which is shallow and very calm. We enter the water slowly, making sure your comfortable, and we then slowly take you down into the shallow water (approx 4m).
We spend about an hour underwater, and we provide you with all the equipment here at the centre.

Is your centre close to the Hotel Apartamento Pueblo Marinero please? Do we need to pre book dives. Also my husband prefers to bring his own kit - obvioulsy not bottles of weights are you Ok with this. He is BSAC diver of 30+ years. Thinking of coming end July, is there any other places you might recommend to stay, quite happy to do self catering. Sorry for so many questions. Lesley

Do you mean the Apartamentos Pueblo Marinero in Playa Blanca? Those would be quite far away. Our centre is in Costa Teguise. Could you send me an email to the centre then i can send you a few recommendations for apartments close to the centre.
You don´t need to pre-book dives. You pay in the end of your stay the amount of dives that you did - simple and easy. Bringing your own equipment is no problem at all. What you need is an insurance that covers diving (many travel insurances do) and a medical certificate.
