A kick-back atmosphere awaits with a rich mix of live sport, entertainment, live sounds and top notch grooves from funk‘n’soul to rock‘n’roll. The kitchen is open daily offering quality homemade food including fruitcakes. Dispensing the finest beers, liquors, cocktails and merriment til the early hours. Open daily from 9.30am.

We were here ages ago and were drawn in because of the name. The couple who own the bar introduced themselves as the subjects of the title.
It's a nice wee place to go for a nice relaxed - but fun - atmosphere.

Highly recommended, went in every night of my holiday. Every customer was treated like an old friend, will be back.

This bar has now been closed for at least 6 months now, visited, back in December 2012, it was always shut, came back to costa teguise in april, Shut, and back in June , shut, great location , for a bar, but never open, stupid name for a bat anyway!!!

Really cool bar - no football shirts hanging on the walls here!! Great bar to meet people and have a chat - with excellent music - video screen and small dance floor. Gets busy very late but if you get there earlier you can have a chat with the really friendly owners Tina & Rob. Make a point of visiting if you enjoy good music and want something a bit 'classier' than some of the British Bars on the Costa Teguise!
Easy directions - find the Square [where the bandstand is] go through the archway at the top of the square and look to the right across the main road and you will see the neon sign which says 'Jazz' - it's just along from the Lively Lady Drag Bar on the corner.

Great bar, real nice owners and a superb audio and video system. Played a wide variety of music and he live entertainment was superb. Best bar for live entertainment in Costa Teguise.

"Fab bar" a lovely atmosphere and welcoming hosts Tina & Rob with a lot of fab music thrown in :) deffo worth a visit, cant wait for our return trip in October x

Weirdos and Fruitcakes is a great live music bar in the centre of Costa Teguise. Hosts Tina and Rob are friendly, welcoming and look after their guests. The bar presents a wide range of quality music from different genres with a full live band every Saturday. Very reasonable drinks prices and a pleasant area to sit out and relax while waiting for the music to begin on warm nights in Lanzarote. Will definately be back!

Was the second time I went to Lanzarote with my partner, was expecting great weather but that didn't happen so went to this Jazz bar I remmembered from 2008. The bar has diferent owners now, diferent decor, great people, great taste in music.
Litterally we've been there every day from day one until last day of holidays, we came in without knowing anyone and the owner would introduce us to the people already there, made loads of friends and had an awsome time. They do karaoke and live music, who needs the beach when u can just relax and meet people and drink as if there was no tomorrow lol enjoy weirdos and fruit cakes is like cheers, a bar you can go and everybody knows your name

Great Bar two very friendly ladies running it,Tina and her friend,brilliant location,i was made to feel welcome as a solo traveler,rather like a local pub at home,i am not sure about the name it may of put some people off not me as i am a mad peron anyway lol,i was sorry to hear about its demise,i hear it has been closed for six months,such a shame, but it was very quiet over the New year period though !
