Found this bar on the first night and came back almost every night from there. Jimmy looked after us and gave us some recommendations on where to go and what to do while we there. He even helped us out with booking some quad bikes for the day at very good value. Kids loved it here too and he couldn’t do enough for us. Would highly recommend if you’re in Kalamaki or the surrounding area.

Impeccable service, fair prices and an incomparable atmosphere. If you are in Kalamaki then a night is not complete without a visit to the fantastic gang at Big Al's. Home of the Unicorn Dab and the best lemon juggling in all of Greece

Went here for a drink one night. Because I am Scottish I was every obscenity under the sun!
This is don't appreciate. The young lad behind the bar is very arrogant, ignorant and racist towards all unless your from his home country of England.
I don't appreciate this, back home he wouldn't have got away with this and he is very lucky I did not react to him.
He doesn't know me and was a very lucky lad.
We also spoke with a couple from Northern Ireland who had similar issues with him.
He'll say the wrong thing to the wrong person one day and will pay for it.
Be warned folks.

It was tragic to lose Big Al earlier this year. He's been such a big part of Zante and for the last few years had his bar, albeit not quite on the beach, in Kalamaki.
The bar lives on and is true to his memory.
Our group has been going to Big Als since it first opened and we called in for a quick one on our afternoon walk.
Such was the welcome, the music, the chilled glasses and reasonably priced beer, we left around midnight!

We went to this bar on some of the afternoons as Angelina was a good host and made you very welcome. Seats were comfortable and the beer was good, served in iced glasses and prices were good. It was very early in the year and the season had not opened properly so customers around 4 o'clock were thin on the ground and never went in the evening as we went to restaurants.

Found this bar to be lacking appeal
Ask for any drink with coke and you get cheap flat cola instead terrible. Not our cup of tea at all and expensive too won't be back at all

Walked past here on the way to Zeppos so thought we would pop in on way back. From outside it looked quite nice but once inside its a bit all over the place. We decided to sit away from bar as the people sat at it seemed quite loud and drunk. Seemed a very brits bar abroad. Drinks were good and cost a bit more than other bars for what we got but as long as drink is ok we don't mind the price. Its been open for 2 years we were told but the furniture looked very tired as if it was all donated and a bit grubby with stains on cushions and sofas made from what looked like pallets. Liked the swing seats, good idea. We wanted more of a locals bar not locals as in drunk brits but everybody is different.

Where exactly is the bar from the main strip?
Written July 11, 2016
If you walk out of drunken corner, turn left and walk until the road stops. There is a mini roundabout, turn right, walk past the cave bar(on your left) and its down on the left before oceanic. Just listen out for the laughing
