We visited Kalamaki last week and wanted to go on the shipwreck excursion - we visited the office and John gave us a great deal which included some amazing experiences. John and Dimitri could not be more welcoming, they were making us laugh constantly and just wanted us to have the best time. They could not have done anymore for us and we left feeling satisfied and very happy. I would recommend these excursions to anyone, as it is a local company you get to see things the big businesses sometimes don’t show. They have a passion to make their customers happy - thankyou again!

John was absolutely amazing and looked after us all holiday. His friend Dimitris who also took us to the shipwreck made a day of it. Dimitris took us on a boat tour, to the ship wreck, then drove to the top of the cliff and did a full island tour and stopped at a restaurant during the day. Really went above and beyond for the people on the tour. John sorted us deals out and was very cheap for tours that lasted full days. They were super friendly, trustworthy & couldn’t recommend these guys enough 👏 thank you for an amazing holiday and for looking after us xxx

John was absolutely amazing and was the joy of our holiday to Kalamaki. He was so friendly and offered us some really good trips which were all memorable and reasonably priced.
I would recommend him and his company 100% and the service he shows is 2nd to none.
Thanks for showing us such a good time when we came to Kalamaki.

Special Offers have offices in Alykes, Alykanas and Tsivili. We took 2 trips with them, Shipwreck Cove and Turtle spotting. The ladies managing the office and accompanying the tours are all English but fluent Greek speakers as well. We were looked after by Lisa in the Alykanas office and Sue who was our guide on both trips.
Everything was organised perfectly, punctual and excellent coaches and boats. They really provide excellent value for money and we could not find any better. If you take the Shipwreck trip they get you to the beach before the invasion of the big boats which is a huge plus. We will use them again.

We went on 3 tours during our holiday - the island coach tour, the Shipwreck Cove tour and the one hour turtle spotting in the Yellow Submarine. All the tours were as described on the advertising and proved good value.
On the island tour, our guide, Constantina, was very friendly and informative. We visited numerous places of interest and viewpoints, including a winery, olive oil processing plant and viewpoints above Zakynthos town and Shipwreck Cove. There was a village stop for coffee and the chance to taste frigania, a delicious local dessert. At the lunch stop there is also the possibility of going on a short boat trip to the blue caves. All in all a good day out.
The four hour trip to Shipwreck Cove and the blue caves was also good, but it's better if you can sit outside, as you can't see much inside. There is no catering on board or at Shipwreck Cove, so take any food and drink with you. We hadn't taken any water but one of the crew managed to find us some. When getting off the boat at the Cove you have to get off in the water and the 'sand' is very rough. There is the opportunity for swimming here and also at the blue caves.
For the turtle spotting we were picked up by coach and taken to Laganas to get on board the sub. Taken out into the bay, we had the chance to see the turtles through underwater windows and then proceed on deck to see them when they surfaced. It was great to see these creatures so close.
All the tours were good in their own way and as they were run by locals, they much appreciated the fact that we were supporting them rather than big tour companies.

My partner and i have been on 2 of the tours on offer with mamfredas, the shipwreck tour and the turtle spotting. Both were absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations. The prices offered by John & Mamfredas were so much cheaper than the prices Firstchoice advertised, i would definitely recommend to anybody looking for an enjoyable day out.

We found Mamfredas Tours, Kalamaki, Zakynthos and John one of the staff, very helpful. Doing lots of Tours around the Island of Zakynthos by cruises or by Coaches. Excellent service, Very low prices and they did matched another offer. We did book Island Cruise, Island Coach Tour and also a day trip to Olympia and Cephalonia. Is the only Tour office in the area , which have available to read the FULL tour details. Pickup coaches was on time and Tour Guides was really helpful.

All day tour around the whole island. With stop off points to swim and sunbathe. Be aware of the wreck beach as it is very stoney - take flip-flops or similar so you can walk around (unless your feet are like leather!). Also take something windproof for the cruise. Brilliant value and a great taster of the island.

We booked the island tour at a very reasonable 18 euros and were very happy with our trip. A My Tours coach arrived and after a quick change to another My Tours coach at the port we were off to see lovely views, shipwreck beach, blue caves (in small boats) a monastery, mountain village and winery. Our guide covered the tour in just 2 languages English and Polish which was fine. Great day for the price.

Hi. i am looking to book a memorable trip with my girlfriend in may. I have been looking at the secrets of zante and the trip to kefalonia, but i cant find really helpful information about the trips or pictures of the trips to help me to decide where to ask my girlfriend that special question. Any help would be very much appreciated

This might help. It's just a general trips and tours site but the agencies will all do the same trips so you will have a better idea of where you want to go before you get there.
justbookexcursions(.)com and search for Zante.
