This beach is just so lovely. It was a 5 minute walk from our hotel which was a real treat as the last time we stayed in Zakynthos it was a taxi ride (but still worth it!)

Visited here for some liquid refreshment at lunchtime, quite busy considering it was the end of the season but not surprising considering the fantastic location. Service was very good and the food being served looked very appetising so I think a meal on a future...More
Visited this beach in late October and fortunately caught the last of the good weather on the island. The beach is more private than the rest and cut off from the longer part of the beach between Lagana and Kalamaki by a rocky outcropping. the...More
Lovely beach, safe paddling/swimming gently sloping sand. Sunbed hire at reasonable prices and numerous beach front bars and restaurants. You can walk right down past Laganas to Agios Sostis and stop of breaks at the various bars etc.

spartilas (1 Replies)
Hi I'll be visiting Corfu in August & I'm going to hire a car for 2 days. I'll be staying in Kassiopi. I intend to drive to Mt Pantokrator & from there I wish to visit some nearby villages. Is it advisable to visit Spartilas? Are there any interesting thing to see please. I'll be also visiting Kalamaki beach, Strinilas & Acharavi. Any suggestions please. Thanks

The view from Spartilas is breathtaking - you could also venture around the hillside to Strinilas and have lunch in my favourite restaurant - 'A La Palaia.' Steve

There was a post recently on Facebook about a wedding ring found on Kalamaki beach? Zakynthos Zante Informer Facebook group was the place. Join the group & either search or add a question. Good luck.
