It's a little sloppy. It is a short route, it has 5 pieces maximum. I think it has very nice pieces of ceramics but almost none have description about what it is, or about the artist. They could improve the entrance since it looks like a courtyard. Free admission

Free museum definitely worth a walk through to admire all the history of ceramics over the years
I think you can get a guide but not sure if it’s available in English

Just walk slowly around the exhibits. It is not a large museum and great coffee is just outside or in the courtyard. Soak it all in. You will be able to buy similar things in the shops of Tlaquepaque and the museum courtyard sometimes hosts displays and shops that manufacture jewelry and pottery.

Located in the heart of Tlapapaque, across from the Bustamente gallery, is a peaceful respite from the crowds in the centro historico. Just meandering through the beautiful property and taking in the architecture, the doors, the courtyard etc was wonderful. The ceramics are a pleasant bonus. I collect piña' sand the selection displayed was mouth watering. Too bad they were not for sale or I would have spent some serious money. Perhaps a blessing. There is another ceramics museum on the other side of the Jardin, also free, that is worthy a wander through. There are also some beautiful murals there, but if you rush through and do not explore all nooks and crannies you will miss them.

This is a free museum that's centrally located. Their collection is excellent and provides a great sampling of the artisans talent. I'm not a ceramic expert and was expecting a bunch of pots - however (as you may already know) there's a lot more to ceramic art than pots. Some of the figurines are amazing and the detail - very impressive.

We were lucky to have a guide show us through the collection and while you could easily do it without a guide, I suggest you get one if you can. They can highlight things you might otherwise overlook.

I visited the museum a few days after the competition was over for the regional champions of ceramic arts. You're able to see examples of many different regional techniques, past winners, and present winners. No charge to visit. Nice bathrooms and friendly staffers.

This small museum exhibits only local ceramics -- sounds dull doesn't it. It's not. What is on display is first rate art -- which happens to be made out of clay. Beautiful pieces in several styles, well worth the half hour or so it takes to walk through -- and it's free. I only wish the gift shop sold pieces of the same high quality as those on display -- after seeing the exhibits I was motivated to spend some serious cash for a (suitcase packable) piece of ceramic artwork.

This small museum is packed with interesting displays of ceramics and other art work. Collections are presented in a series of rooms surrounding an open courtyard. A nice place to visit to get an idea of the different styles of pottery and its decoration.

In the midst of shops and restaurants, this museum has unexpectedly high quality ceramics in a beautiful and quiet setting.
