Good morning Alin, thank you for your opinion. As you say, the only floor you can visit in the Palace is the second floor, because the other floors belongs to the begining of the 20th century, built by the Jesuits, the last owners of the building. Because of them, all the rooms you can't see are the Jesuit's residence and... More

This encapsulates the life of the Borgiaa and is well worth a visit if you like architecture, history or just pottering around a very stately home.

We visited here recently with friends. The Borgias really knew how to live, even after taking holy orders. If this is ecclesiastical poverty....well, bring it on! Spectacular interior design and decoration and rooms that drip with history. We enjoyed a tour with a guide who brought the rooms and family to life with her stories. The palace is also the... More

This was just a day visit in Gandia so time was limited. I am so glad that I chose to go to the palace. It is accessed through a small side street and its high plain walls give you no idea of the splendour that lies within. You enter the square courtyard and proceed to the upper floor. The whole... Almost missed this place as it closed for lunch but literally stopped in my tracks by the Golden Gallery. €6 entry and doesn't take long to look around. The Neo-Gothic chapel ceiling is fabulous too.

Good morning Mark, thank you for your opinion of the Palace. Now, the Palace is in winter time. It´s open from 10:00 hours to 13:30 hours in the morning and from 15:00 hours to 18:30 hours in the evening. The Palace closes half and hour for lunch and the sundays and festive days in the evening. We hope you had... More

This really is a hidden gem, hidden in plain site on a busy shopping street in the centre of Gandia. The building is still a Jesuit college and chapel but you can tour the state rooms of Frances Borja and it's a great place to learn some of the history of the Borja's and their place in papal history. Very... More

A beautiful and very ornate palace which will take about an hour to visit, a really unexpected find and so pleased we went. Our 9 year old was well entertained too. 16 euros for 2 adults and 1 child. Not pushy at all sales wise, just a few quality souvenirs if you want to buy a memento - watch the... More

Lived here in Gandia for 15 years and visited many times with family and friends visiting us.Always beautiful .Very interesting as most people think the Borjas are Italian not coming from this region. In July I took part in a special evening visit which was more extensive than the usual tour .Absolutely fabulous highly recommended sadly.only available during July and... More
