Dived there - decent - and had a BBQ lunch. Nice to walk around but it is small. Also there's lots of tiny shells in the sand so a little hard on the barefeet!

We had an enjoyable trip over to Kalanggaman on a boat shared by about 14 of us so the costs were low. When we arrived we were stunned by the untouched beauty and the water was so crystal clear it was unbelievable. Plenty of fish swimming around while we snorkeled and a pretty good BBQ lunch was included. On the... More

We visited Kalanggaman Islet twice during our stay with Evolution Diving on Malapascua. It is about a 1.5 to 2 hour boat trip (depending on the waves), but it is a very idyllic island with a very long sand bar and clear blue seas. Well worth the trip to dive on the wall and visit the island.

The crystal clear blue sea with the island 's name means bird. They said that normally it is always crowded at the island but so lucky when we arrived it was not many people there. We had barbecue lunch on the Island. The food was not good but we didn't care. We also had scuba dive around the island. This... More

Kalanggaman is a exclusive island. Damn i need to go visit this island this year again. You have to rent a boat and there's entrance free for 180 php per head i guess (not sure anymore).

It can get expensive if you're on your own, as the boat tour needs a certain number to break even. So ask around and join a tour. It's worth the trip. White sand, clear waters. Luckily, it has coconut trees now, so there's a few shade. It can get really hot, so bring a hat, and lots of sunscreen. The... More

Highly recommended! We went there with the whole family (which included lots of kids) and everyone enjoyed the trip. We took a 1-hour-and-15-minute boat ride from Malapascua, Cebu to Kalanggaman Island and spent around 4 hours swimming. It could have been longer, but we had to factor in the trip going back. I would recommend you leave for Kalanggaman earlier... More
