It’s a historic Gurudwara and people come to here from distant places to offer their prayers. It’s quite crowded on the ‘Panchmi’ of every month and super crowded on ‘Basant Panchmi’.
As the name ‘Dukh Nivaran’ suggests, the Gurudwara has a reputation of solving your grief if you come here with pure heart and offer the prayers.

All Gurudwaras are beutiful that's true. But what makes this particular pilgrimage more attractive is the location. Located in the midst of the city Patiala it attracts lots of people plus the "sarovar" as it is called to be have beautiful & unique fishes. Good place to visit if in Patiala.

The most peaceful place in Patiala. As a localite i go to pay obeisance frequently. It is related to sikh religion but very religion is welcomed here from any part of the world with open arms. This gurudwara was built in the memory of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji (Ninth god of sikhs) as he had a stay here and recited prayers on his way to Delhi. He also took out all people out of trouble as people in that time used to face a drought everyday, but after his visit all changed. Everything is clean here. Nobody will have to face any hassle while visiting here. There is a sarovar where one can take holy dip and make your soul pure. It can be reached easily here by any private or public vehicle. Its near to bus stand and bus stop is located infront of the gurudwara. The car parking is also here, even underground too and its being totally protected. The big langar hall (place to eat) is behind gurudwara and everything is available for free. The rest rooms are also located behind the gurudwara. One can find hotels also nearby as many of them are available nearby. Best option is to take a room in the hotels near 22 no. market (name of market). One will feel purely fresh and happy after paying obeisance here. Every sikh festival is celebrated here at gurudwara. The shops are also near parking where one can buy anything related to sikh culture, souvenirs to the history books of all sikh religion. Its a request to everyone whenever you go to pay obeisance here, to take out some quality as then you can feel pure and blessed. God bless all the world.
