Firstly, it's not really a tower. Bai Jian Lou is basically 100 old houses situated alongside the canal at Nan Xun Ancient Town. What's so amazing about this place is that it is still lived by the locals. The old houses are renovated on the inside for modern living but the outside still maintains the original structure and design. You can still find locals washing clothes on the river, fishing, dancing, and pretty much going about their days as usual. Not much commercialism at this part of the town, hope it will stay this way. Really refreshing change from the busy hectic life of the big cities. Just find a good spot to sit and watch. It's amazing.
