great golf course
Jan 2021
you won't be disappointed with the layout of this course it is challenging but fair has some great holes and you will need all the shots to play this course well, a bit pricey and the club bar and facilities could do with a refit and the bar prices and food could be a lot better.

Fantastic layout / Condition average
Oct 2020
Really interesting Course layout. A bushland setting on the front nine, then on the back nine a combination of Resort style and finishing with more bush land. Not a long Course, but most fairways are very tight, so accuracy is crucial. Some lovely waterways on the course which come into play with wayward shots. Course was not pristine when we played, a little shabby in areas, but the layout is fantastic and we all enjoyed the experience. If you haven’t played it before, or haven’t done so for a long time, I’d recommend a visit.

Great Layout - disappointing condition
Mar 2020
I love this course, I grew up off the 15th Green. This course has always had a special place in my heart and I think at its peak it is among the best courses in the Gold Coast. the Finishing 5 holes are some of the best in Queensland. Sadly my most recent visit was marred by the disappointing condition of the course. It is clear that Mr. Palmer has been too busy cost cutting. The greens were average at best, with each hole filled in with PVC pipping (not chance of a hole out). I could only imagine this is due to birds eating the hole. The fairways had weeds growing in patches. Some of the tee boxes were embarrassing (particularly number 9), like teeing up at a discount driving range. Beyond the course the clubhouse is still in disarray. The Clock is still broken. It is just tacky, the round was $69.50 walking, I wish I had played another course. I hope Palmer sells this and someone can restore some pride in this course. Sad to see what has become of it.

Pleasantly surprised

Played Feb 2020. Great course design, course in very good shape though the greens were a bit slow and bumpy. $90 including cart. I’d certainly go again.

Visited the course just after some wild weather, no carts allowed on course proper, just on cart paths.
The greens were recently cored and were still very bumpy...
Overall a great course, i think to get people to play, i this condition a reduction in price woukd be a good idea.
At present it is a $50 course not $80.
When in good condition, they could charge $100 and get players coming through.
Enjoyed my day, had a great chat with the pro shop staff.

Played 3 Courses Robina Woods (Palmer Gold Coast), Lakelands and Glades. Palmer Gold Coast was the best. In great condition. Greens were terrific. It is a great layout.

Could be such a good course.

Man I really don't want to say anything negative about this course. The design and layout were very good. Course condition was rough. Not what I expected from a Palmer designed course. Rental clubs were poor. Services were poor. Seemed like it was off season. If I am back in the area again, I will play it again, if the course conditions improve.

The staff deserve a medal. They are doing a great job without much support. Be careful of the advertised price. It doesn't include a cart.

Average Golf Course
Oct 2016 • Friends
Golf for 9 on Sunday at 10.30am organized 3 months before and ordered 6 carts. Arrived and no carts available - told that only had 4 and should be due. Took one half charged and asked for others to be brought out. Took till 11.30 to get 4 and forgot the rest.
Course was very average with fairways scarified which we were not told about.
Clubhouse average (could be great) but needed lots maintenance and painting.
OWNED by Clive Palmer so not surprised it was bad.
