Great experience of learning surfing

As a beginner who has never been exposed to surfing, I want to really get started in this sport. So I chose the Gold coast 5-nights camp running by Austrian Surf Adventure🏄‍♀️🏄‍♀️🏄‍♀️🏄‍♀️🏄‍♀️.

My coach is a professional surfing competitor, Marie, who is a humorous Tahiti girl. Thanks to her, in the tail of 2019, I have 5 days of great memories. She seems to be almighty. She can enable me to pop on the surfing board on the first day, can speak 4 languages ​​and switch seamlessly, can also make perfect sunny side up eggs for breakfast😍.

We live on the outlying island-South Stradbroke Island, 40-minute ferry from the mainland. Here we can enjoy an almost private surfing beach, which is challenging and exciting. When not surfing we can play stand paddling, swimming in the pool or watching the sunset by the sea. I was lucky to catch the New Year party here. In addition, Paul, a super nice hotel staff, gave us a bottle of champagne 🍾️ for celebrations🥳!

I love this kind of trip that full of surprises and insights, hoping to have the opportunity to participate in more trips of Austrian Surf Adventure🙏~

Awesome family fun

Such a wonderful morning for our family learning to surf together. The instructors were fabulous, patient and encouraging and their love of surfing was so apparent as they took the opportunity to ignite a passion in us and particularly the kids. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to try something new in a safe and fun way. They work hard to get some great action shots of everyone. Smiles everywhere.

Great experience

ASA made the whole experience really enjoyable. Worth every penny and I would highly recommend anybody wanting to give surfing lessons a go to go through ASA. Great customer one on one time as well as over all group experience. Thank you for the amazing day, will definitely be back for more lessons.

Amazing Private Surf Tour of the Gold Coast

Myself and two friends were originally booked into ASA’s Gold Coast surf and yoga retreat but due to unforeseen circumstances this couldn’t go ahead on our chosen dates. However Jody was so accommodating last minute to create an awesome new itinerary for us over those dates instead for a private surf tour. It allowed us instead to discover the Gold Coast and to as far as the Tweed Coast. We were all very much beginner surfers but by the end of the two days Jody had us all surfing small green waves. Jody’s teaching abilities were superb and he adapted his instructions to suit each of us individually. His local knowledge of the the Gold Coast and beyond was amazing, as he took us for a tour from the North of the Gold Coast all the way down to the Tweed coast. Excellent choices for lunch spots as well. We had an amazing time on our private tour and we all can’t wait to continue surfing, now that we all have caught the surfing bug. Can’t wait to hopefully book into the Yoga + Surf retreat in the future! Thanks again Jody for an amazing time!

Great lesson! A definite must do.

I had a private shortboard lesson with Remi. He really helped me to try fix a lot of bad habits. He pushed me to embrace the uncomfortable and get further forward on the board, work on where I'm looking, fix my stance and positioning, and push for more waves I might not normally paddle for.

He also took some photos to help me see what I was doing.

It was a great experience! I definitely recommend Australian Surfing Adventures

I have been surfing with Australian Surfing Adventures all year and my Surfing has improved immensely as a result. I have attended loads of lessons over the years and ASA are way above the rest with their dedicated coaches and value for money. Don't miss the opportunity!

Exciting experienced instructors and an awesome time

I was part of a 5-week Learn to Surf program with weekly lessons. The instructors were absolutely awesome. They were patient, demonstrating and made sure we understood how the waves work and what happens when we do different things. They made sure we were comfortable in the water and warmed up before surfing. They supported the slower learners and pushed the fast adjusters. I can highly recommend ASA for anyone who wants to learn how to surf or advance their surfing skills.

Awesome bunch of guys that helped me become a better surfer. They care about your individual process even in a bigger group and help you progress in the way you need to. Definitely recommend them if you want to learn to surf or get your surfing to a better level.

ALA learn to surf experience

The 2.5 hour learn to surf lessons was an incredible learning experience. I really enjoyed and am happy to have learned to surf a bit with no prior surfing ever!
Jody, the instructor was great and his feedback really helped me learn better then I had thought.
I’d highly recommend Australian surfing adventures to learn surfing!

Unbelievable day, much better then expected for sure! Mick was a fantastic teacher, he was patient and informative and gave us all the motivation we needed.
The other half not to confident in water never mind attempting to surf, but Mick put her at ease and she got to standing by then end of the class which is what he promised.
Mick tailored the session to each individuals needs of progression.
Honestly can’t say how great it was and not even seen the pictures yet!

Cheers guys will definitely recommend to everyone!
