I have been here before and have never forgotten the view. Years later the view hasn't changed and it's just as spectacular. Wait for the morning sun to dissolve the morning mist and low clouds before you go and you will not be disappointed.
After spending a few hours treking around the waterfall loop, we stopped here on the way home with thoughts of "This better be good, weve seen some pretty good views today"
It was. Best view of the day.
Having been to national parks and natural areas in Europe, I find the scenery here to be nothing special. It just didn’t give me the ‘wow’ factor. Not to mention the time and effort taken to travel here. I could have done something else.
On the way up to the lookout you get used to the drops on both the sides of the road.
But as you walk down the ancient forest path to the lookout you get glimpses of blue nothingness through the gloomy surrounds. Great little walk....More
