Absolutely stunning short walk to the lookout, which unfortunately we were well and truly in the clouds at the time! Still absolutely stunning scenery, and saw a few King Parrots along the way!

Only a short 350 mtr walk to excellent views from Surfers paradise down to Byron bay. But you have to do it on a clear day to get the benefit.

We decided that best time to view in November was dawn break. Amazing scenery, very cold even in morning, about 8c on that day at about 5am. Take coffee in flask and warm clothes. Sit back and watch day break over Byron and let the sky light up and dance in colours. Bonus you get a touch of mobile reception cover here if you need it.

Well, as there was no reception we struggled a little bit to find it haha! And we kept saying “this lookout better be the best of all!” But once we found it, and did the pretty little walk to the lookout it was magical! The views were incredible. So so so beautiful and I definitely recommend

We had a bit of a hazy day so the views were a little inhibited. Only a short 10min walk. A large carpark at the beginning. Cicadas were deafening. A info board gives you some idea of where everything is. Well worth the drive.

Gorgeous easy walk in the rainforest with a great lookout over the crater, valleys and out to Byron Bay.

This lookout certainly lives up to its name, it was by far the best on our recent day visit to the Springbrook Mountain, the lookout is located on the border of Queensland and New South Wales at the end of Repeated Station Road, Queensland. The path (700 metres return) is accessible to all, no stairs, sealed all the way with a bench seat at the lookout platform. The walk passes through prehistoric forest, checkout the ancient Antarctic Beech Trees 300 metres in on the path, they are protected within the Gondwana Rainforest of Australia World Heritage Area. Signs along the way to say to lookout for Albert's Lyrebirds and Richmond Birdwing butterflies, unfortunately we did not see any. The viewing platform is well positioned on the edge of the escarpment providing stunning views of the escarpment, over the Tweed Valley and down to Mount Warning in New South Wales. The best.

Not a lot of parking at the walk entrance, but more nearby at the repeater station.

The 350m down a slight hill to a reasonable sized viewing platform out across the crater area to Murwillumbah and beyond.

Nice and brisk at the moment, a lovely outing

This is an easy 350 m walk from the dark park passing ancient trees .
The view is amazing it was hazy when we did it but on a clear day you can see for hundreds of miles .
