We boarded the 10am trip with so much anticipation. Just as we were leaving the jetty, a curious bottlenose dolphin decided to come and swim right up close to the boat. The weather left a little to be desired, but it meant that there were going to be perfect conditions out on the water. On the way out through the... More

We boarded the boat at Sea World and made our way slowly out to the open ocean. We did not have to travel too far before we got our fist sighting of the whales. A couple of dolphins also came close to the boat. We had a wonderful afternoon and were incredibly luck to see a 'superpod' of whales, including... More

Have just been on our very first whale watching trip with Sea World Whale Watch today 14th September. All i can say is WOW . From the very start to the very end it was impressive, slick and very entertaining. We were very lucky to see several whales throughout the 2.5 hrs in all different poses, from breaching, to tail... To avoid disappointment we booked 5 months in advance. I was super excited to not only see whales but to also take photographs (I love photography). I don't suffer motion sickness so ALL is good! WRONG! There was a 2 metre swell, the wind was extremely strong and very cold. Yes, we did see whales however it took all your... More

Okay I was not sure what will happen and how but I was excited. Professional crew helped us to get on the vessel than slowly headed to the ocean. You have to be prepared that the vessel is moving in all possible directions - since we are on a sea. You keep you from falling always hold yourself. Believe me... More

A very helpful boat and ideal for novices I suspect. Lovely interior with airconditioning and leather seats, but for an intrepid boater (10,000+ hours on boats) it was a little restrictive. The host was impressively positive for what was very uninteresting whale watching. This is a good thing if you are taking newbies to see the whales as this guy... More

An interesting tour and we were lucky to catch quite a few whales at close distance. Ship is clean and consisted of indoor and outdoor viewing decks. The water was rather choppy that day and quite a few of us experienced seasick, including me :( The staff were all very attentive and they keep making their rounds checking of everyone,... More

My wife and I were privileged to join a group of other people on a Sea World Whale Watch tour. I had phoned the previous week to confirm a booking, only to be told that weather conditions on the day we had booked were dubious. I was able to change the date with no extra charge, and earlier this week... More

We joined the very friendly professional crew on a whale watching cruise and we weren't disappointed! We saw a mother and calf as well as other whales. The boat was first class and really looked quite new. The best one I have ever been on I would highly recommend going with this boat, over others we saw.
