Description:

Discover the beauty of the Gold Coast canals aboard our 1965 timber vessel....

Discover the beauty of the Gold Coast canals aboard our 1965 timber vessel. This relaxing 2 hour cruise is the perfect way to enjoy the Gold Coast's waterways and peek into the magnificent homes and lifestyles of the rich and famous whose homes line the canals.

Cruise through these man-made canals and discover what is known as the 'Venice of Australia' with a Broadwater Canal system larger than the waterways of Venice and Amsterdam combined.

During this 2 hour cruise we will explore the three islands Chevron, Cronin and Macintosh. View the ever-changing Surfers Paradise skyline and travel to Marina Mirage Queensland's finest waterfront shopping and dining resort, Palazzo Versace Australia's only 6 star Hotel and the Sea World Resort and Water Park.

With informative commentary the skipper will share some of the history of the Gold Coast, profile some of Australia's rich list and give an insight to some of the Gold Coast's well known identities, so sit back, relax and enjoy the extensive views of the coast skyline. The best way to discover Surfers on the water.

I took my sister-in-law from Sydney on the lunch trip. We had a lovely time. The commentary is informative and the operators friendly and attentive. We were served a choice of fresh sandwiches and a cup of tea or coffee for lunch and we bobbed along for 2 hours on the beautiful Nerang River, seeing, and hearing, how the other... More

We are locals and we took a visiting relative with us on this cruise. What a great way to spend the morning. Steve & Rhonda were wonderful hosts and gave us a great experience. Very informative, Interesting cruise, these people certainly make their customers the morning important part of their business. Fully recommend and the price is very good.

We are Gold Coast locals and decided to adventure on this cruise for a friends birthday. We had such a fantastic morning, commencing with a warm lovely welcome by Steve and Rhonda. We sat at the top of the boat and enjoyed smooth sailing, sunshine and really enjoyable commentary by Steve. We were served beautiful scones and tea and enjoyed... More

Steve and Rhonda welcomed us on board with a friendly hand shake and a smile and from the moment on we knew this was going to be a relaxing two hours with great company. While Rhonda was busy with the beverages and sandwiches Steve was giving a very informative and professional commentary. As well they allowed us to bring BYO... More

We did the cruise over a lunchtime and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The commentary was good with a range of information about the canals and their community. The history was also very informative.

Went on a cruise with this business to-day 6th August 2016, and can speak very highly of the cruise. The skipper/owner was very helpful and eager to please. His commentary of the area was excellent. It was very interesting to see the homes and boats that live in the canals of Surfers. Morning tea with scones and cream was good... More

Amidst the plethora of attractions on the Gold Coast - mostly overpriced and over rated, Broadwater Canal Cruises stands out as a little "gem". For the price of $25 we got an interesting cruise around the canals and an excellent commentary from Captain Steve. It was supposed to be 2 hours but we actually got an extra 20 minutes because... We were pleased to have found this great value canal cruise. Capt. Steve was informative and created a 'welcome aboard' atmosphere as you stepped onto his boat. A family run business with even his children assisting the day we went. The palatial residence we passed were unbelievable and the history of the way the area has developed over the years... More

We booked Steve's boat for an evening cruise with my work colleagues. Steve was very pleasant and accommodating, and showed us around some of the many canals. Older boat, but comfortable enough for 15 of us to move around, plus some space on the upstairs deck for about 10. Really friendly, and great value for money!
