With Kathrin's professional guidance and commitment, our one-week group hiking tour turned into an outstanding experience. Five excursions across the island brought us to sensational viewpoints and in a very entertaining way in intensive contact with culture and nature. Organization and implementation were flexibly adapted to the weather conditions, the daily program was very varied and balanced, accommodation, food and price / performance top.

We joined a small group panoramic 3-4 hour tour for seniors. We were picked up outside our hotel and then proceeded to Fira having picked up our tour guide Agatha. We then waited for some others to join us from the cruise ships. Unfortunately there was a delay as some of them didn’t make the pick up point and after efforts by Agatha to find them, the 8 of us were on our way.
The tour was great and Agatha very knowledgeable. She was happy to answer questions and blended the history and economics of the island with quirky anecdotes and insights. The driver Thassos was amazing. How he managed to squeeze past walls and other vehicles in the narrow streets was unbelievable.
The tour lived up to its name of minimal walking, yet took us around much of the island. Even when we walked up or down a slight incline for photo shots, the mini-bus came too. No steep inclines to walk up or lots of steps, so suitable for anyone with walking or breathing difficulties. The only longer walk was at Ilia and most of that was on the flat.
My only slight criticism was that we did not get to see anything much of Fira as we did not get the opportunity to walk round at at all despite hanging around for about half an hour waiting for the the other passengers. That may be fine for the cruise ship passengers who could have a wander around after they were dropped off, but we were staying elsewhere, so a bit of time there would have been much appreciated. Also, remember to bring some bottled water as there was none on the vehicle although we did have time to stop for something to drink at the Black beach and Ilia.

Santorini Experts are great! We were visiting Santorini on a cruise ship and Kathrin helped us decide on an itinerary for the day. Our guide Agatha was so entertaining and it seemed like everyone on the island knew her. She took us everywhere around the island: to the high point of the island, to Acrotiri, and to the beaches. She even explained the Greek way to enjoy ouzo (NOT the way Americans usually do). We felt like we had an long-time friend showing us around her island! Would definitely recommend Santori Experts if you want an expert guided tour.

Sabina did a great job navigating traffic while teaching the four ous many interesting facts about Santorini. We had several opportunities to stop for photos & to get a closer look around. She also allowed us to stop by a marketplace to pick up a few supplies. She took us to the highest point of the island all the way to the other end with the grand finale in Oia for the iconic views & photo ops. The van was spacious & even though it was a bit of a challenge to get into the back seat, I was able to stretch my leg out & relieve some of my pesky sciatic pain there. I would recommend this tour.

In early August we took a cruise to the Greek Islands. For our stop in Santorini, we booked a Panoramic Views tour with Santorini Experts. We booked several excursions during our trip but this was by far our favorite. Our tour guide, Markos, was fabulous. When we first met him, he explained that we were the only two booked for the tour but that he wasn't going to cancel on us because he wanted us to see the beautiful island. We so appreciated his willingness to continue with the tour because we had two other tours during the week ( with different tour companies) cancelled on us last minute. Markos drove us to out of the way places just to for the perfect panoramic views. He also let us get out and walk the old town giving us things to make note of along the way. Lastly, we spent time in the more commercial area with a little time to shop and take in some gelato. Markos is happy, engaging, interested in his customers, and just a gem to have as a tour guide. We hugged when we parted because we felt we had a new friend, whom we were going to miss, in Santorini. Ask for Markos if you book a tour with Santorini Experts! It will make your time on that island even more memorable!

Agatha was our guide and she was amazing. She was very kind and funny and had tremendous knowledge of the island both the history as well as sites to see nightlife, restaurants, and so much more. I really enjoyed the 6 mile hike. It was a great work out and most important, breathtaking and stunning views the entire time.

We did the Santorini wine tour with Kathrin and she was fabulous! Not only did she take us to three great, and distinctively different, wineries, she shared her knowledge of wine making on the island as well as island history. A great way to spend an afternoon!

Our guide, Marco was just fabulous. I can’t say enough about his passion for the island, life and wealth of knowledge! We took a tour geared towards limited walking and he was able to ensure we had a great experience and saw all the best parts of what Santorini had to offer. I hope we meet again one day.

We had a fantastic experience with our guide, no friend Markos, it was like we have know him all our lives. I would highly recommend this tour to know all about the beautiful island of Santorini. It is a must for every visitor and Santorini experts is our go to!!!!

Thank you to Kathrin our wonderful guide on a small group tour on Thirassia. She couldn't have been be helpful, welcoming, friendly and informative. From the donkey ride up to Manolas, the hike to Akrilia (a hidden, abandoned cave village) and the fabulous church to the meal and wine at the end, it was all superb, a very special day that I will never forget.

Do you pick up directly at port or on top of the funicular?
We come in at 14:00, to the port in May, but will take time to go up the cliff with so many people.
Do you have a private tour that ends around 19:00 so we can go on our own and eat in a fantastic local restaurant on top of the cliffs.
We just want the historical & archeological highlights, the red & black beach for photo only, walk 1 hr in Oia. No wine tasting.
How much is that tour please?

My wife and I am (maybe another couple) want to come back to Santerini June 7 or 8th 2019 for like 4 days then on to London. We would like a 4-5 hour tour the first day and maybe some advise on reaning a Villa 2 bedroom 2 baths with hot tube and/or pool. we are flexible on time and date somewhat. Any advise? Carl Andrade

Hi, my husband and I will be traveling with two granddaughters 8 & 10 years old and will be in Santorini July 5. In a 4 hour tour is it possible to see Akrotiri ruins, Oia, and the black beach. We should be able to tender early from Holland America's Veendam as the ship is scheduled to dock at 8:00 a.m. and would like to be back aboard no later than 5 p.m. Do you have recommendations that would assist our granddaughters in understanding the history and culture of the area?

Good afternoon,
Santorini is a tender port, they will first tender the passengers who have booked with the cruise line and then the individuals. You will be brought from the cruise ship to the old port of the island. There, only a few meters from your drop off point you will find the cable car to come up to the village. The ride takes about 5 minutes and costs 6 Euro per person. We will pick you up from the exit of the cable car station in Fira one hour after the arrival of your cruise ship holding a sign with your name on it.
To get back to the cruise ship you have to take the cable car and the tender boat again. Usually the last tender runs one hour before the departure of the cruise ship, that's why we recommend our guests to be at the cable car station latest 30 minutes before the last tender boat.

Are you available for a 4 hour tour on Monday the 11th . We are staying st the San Marcos Suites on Fira and are interested in a tour from 3-7 pm and you could leave us somewhere that we could watch the sunset and make our own way home ! Assuming we can get a cab from where we end up at !

We are specialized in private tailor made tour. The following is a suggestion of a tailor made experience that is of course able to be customized regarding to your interests and wishes.
After picking you up from a place of your choice we would start the tour by seeing Oia, the northern most village of the island, where we would find the ruins of a Venetian castle, admire the breathtaking view over the caldera and have some time to explore. On the way to the south we could stop at the famous blue domed church in Firostefani, where we would show you the group of five islands that make out Santorini. Then we'd go to a nice view point close to Akrotiri before we would take you to a local organic farm, where you would have the opportunity to savor Santorinian finger food delicacies and homemade wines. We would then go to the black sandy beach of Perivolos, where you can dip your toes in the Aegean Sea. The last stop would be the highest mountain of the island, Profitis Ilias, from where you have a panoramic view over all of the island. After the tour we would bring you to a nice sunset spot.
On the way you will learn about the genesis and history of Santorini island, you'll gain insights about the local agricultural specialties and wine production and of course we'll inform you about Greek traditions and religion.
Please keep in mind, that this is a private tour, so it is possible to customize even on the way.
The price for this 4 hrs private tour with two participants is 120 Euro per person including the transport in a modern air conditioned car, the English speaking guide, the tastings and bottled water.

I personally did not go to the archeological site, but the tour is 100% customizable! So if you wanted to go, Marcos could take you and make sure that your itinerary got there in the most efficient way possible. My tour group was just my fiancé and I, but Marcos said he could accommodate larger groups as well. Their services are foolproof, you cannot go wrong, and a good time is pretty much guaranteed!
