This is just a beautiful beach that just seems to be endless. The water is warm, the sand is golden and soft and its right in the heart of Broadbeach. It is patrolled which is reassuring as the waves can get big, great area for B-B-Qs as well.

Best Beach in the World

When my wife & I stay in Broadbeach we always spend at least 1 of our mornings walking from Kurrawa Beach along to Surfers Paradise Beach and back to Kurrawa.
Beautiful, pristine and very good for your mental health.
We feel totally refreshed.
Well done to Gold Coast Council and to Qld Surf Life Saving.

I like Kurrawa Beach - have been coming to Broadbeach and using Kurrawa Beach for over 50 years. While I do not see myself a local, I feel very welcome at the Club, on the beach (well maintained) and enjoy the markets. All in all a good experience to have when visiting Gold Coast and Australia.

Lunch needs much improvement. Had to ask three times for a menu. Then given one glass of water for three people. Waiter never returned with a jug of water after requesting it. Indian curry with rice. Dry and tasteless rice not cooked.
A beautiful ocean view with much improvement needed in the restaurant. Have dined many times at Kurawa but this is unacceptable.

Amazing beach club

Beach and surf clubs are all over Australia and anyone can visit these clubs as long as you have valid ID. Kurrawa delivers excellent food and drinks at reasonable prices overlooking the beach. I highly advise anyone visiting Australia to visit these clubs

Location incredible, staff were fantastic and it was such a great vibe. And to sit back and enjoy some cold drinks and delicious food on the beach… About time there was something like this in Aus. Well done Gold Coast! We’ll be heading back for sure!

Just near the surf club this is a great place to watch beach volleyball, sit in the park and be in the centre of town near the mall.
Patrolled beach with flags. Excellent spot but also one of the busiest.

Best Beach on the Coast

Great family beach with plenty of open space. It is well patrolled and safe for children in the shallows . The sand is clean and the the water inviting. It is also great for early morning and evening walks on this large stretch of beach

A nice clean beach for a walk , swim or sometimes surf . There are lifeguard patrols and if you swim between the flags will have fun.
It gets busy weekends and the surf club here is very popular, the club house is brand new and located right on beach.
The water is nice and clean
TRAVEL TIP- Go early mornings to avoid crowds and also the wind gets stronger later in day.

So many people up & about to enjoy this beach ... from very early.

Early morning walk on this beach is quite magical. Look north towards the high rises of Surfers but relax in the knowledge that Broadbeach 's beaches are superior.
