Our room was located in the annex across the road and not in the main hotel, which was a disappointment, but the room was nice. The main hotel was lovely, quaint, and charming. The bar had the most hospitable server.

The Rutland is a fantastic local pub. The food is great value for money and the beer is good.
In the summer the garden is ideal. Nice and quiet and next to the river (watch the chickens though - they can be lethal ;o).
