The museum is actually a park filled with steam locomotives. Access if free. There are 14 steam locomotives on display (most of them are built in Resita). Some technical details are presented for each locomotive. The piece de resistance is a locomotive from 1872.

It is located in the central part of Resita, an open-air museum. It contains wonderful steam locomotives, but unfortunately it is not very well promoted by the public administration.
