The Tienmu lake is a great and beautiful place for spending a day outside. There's a lot of things to do and many trails and hikes nearby. A visit to the hot springs is most recommended!

Honestly, I don't really know what is so special about this place, but certainly is one of the local resort, and there were may people visiting when we visited this place for our company's recreational trip. There are few activities surounding the lake, and you may spend a few days here. I didn't see many foreigners.

The lake is in fact a reservoir that was originally used to fulfill the hydro-electric and farming purposes. The lake did also serve as the traveling area in 1992. There are many resorts and hotels built besides the lake. The lake is free of charge but travelers go to the Tianmu Lake Scenic have to pay the entrance fee.

So much to see and some great walks to be had. We took the boat trip to an island and then to the Tea museum. It was extremely hot and crowded but still enjoyable. Spring or Autumn would be more comfortable.
