Old town.

Old town, some places restored. Old houses (of course not 1000 years old, but 100). Monument of Opium War. The war had started here.

We stayed at the Xiangnan Hotel in Dinghai city. Other than the beautiful promenade and lavish-looking restaurant by the water there's not much going on in the town.
