You dive into a totally different world in the middle of Baoding. Outside the park the daily riot is going on (horrible traffic, yelling people that advertise whatever, or even this awful speaker advertisements that repeat a view words again and again and again). Went there in 2013. This place is a must visit place in Baoding. I can feel an extremely peaceful atmosphere the moment I entered the garden (beside the fact that it is located in central commercial district of Baoding). I lived in Baoding for 2 years. Visit this garden many times. It is a must to visit Baoding and all of the historical sceeneries

If you're visiting Baoding you MUST visit these gardens. I visited to do some filming for something I was working on and I've never seen anything like it. It has a very peaceful atmosphere to it and the lotuses were beautiful. I visited in June, but my friend who is from Baoding said July/August is the best time to visit... More

Nice and quiet place in the center of old Baoding. Hopefully they will be able to improve the water quality so all Lotuses will be able to blossom again in the future.

Probably more pretty in the summer than in the autumn/winter but overall a nice historical place to visit with pretty scene to stroll and chill in the central of a busy commercial district
