We had to travel down a lot of two-lane roads to get to the Castle from Austria; but the drive was worth it. It's a fairy tale setting high up on the hill. The castle overlooks a beautiful valley below. There is a good-sized parking...More

I managed to google this Castle somehow & it was immediately put on my bucket list to visit when in Germany! The Castle is easily accessed and quite small compared to other's we'd been to. There is plenty of parking available. There are no steep...More

This castle seems to be straight out of a fairy tale. Just imagine Rapunzel letting her hair down from this castle. We visited this castle and Hohenzollern on a day when were traveling from Tuebingen to Fussen. This castle is 45 minutes from Tuebingen and...More

This was one of the most amazing sites I’ve ever seen in my life. It was breathtaking and everyone should see it at least once in their life.

Having been here a few times before, unique small castle set on a rock. Very photogenic and on a clear day perfect place to visit. If your are at the outlet shops, it’s not that far a drive to visit.

Easy to reach no need to climb far. Entrance fee to the courtyard is 2 Eur. The castle is very good suited for taking beautiful pictures. Parking cost 2 Eur, otherwise there is free parking like 1 km far away from castle.

Long winding road up to car park very close by. Area contains castle itself and several other old interesting buildings. The castle itself is surprisingly small and looks a bit like something from Grimms fairy tails. Guided tour of interior in German but with English...More

I found this attractive and interesting. Castle where now days private properties of Herjog ( Royal Family) and his wife. They leave there and other part is for public. $2 for entrance. Worse to take some photos, visit museum (+ $6) .
