This attraction was not well advertised but worth every penny. On a clear day we had the impression of being part of the mountains-almost like flying over the Rockies .The suspension bridge is a great touch. Plan on spending a few hours up here

Hallstatt itself is one of the most beautiful villages in Austria. The narrow alleys are so authentic and romantic. The view of the lake and mountains just amazing. But the most attractive and amazing attraction is the Skywalk and the Salt Mine, the skywalk gives you an amazing point of view to see hallstatt from a high point, but in... More

It is good for those who are fearless and love nature. I visited that place early morning, so it was not as crowdy and I could enjoy the place, atmosphere and view.

Tourist attraction, brilliantly engineered Meant to attract people who want to experience the thrill of being in precipitous surroundings without the inherent feeling of danger and exhilaration climbers feel.

It gets a thumbs up from me for being an experience, being able to play with the snow in summer. However we were undeprepared with our footwear and the low clouds meant we couldn't see a thing :(

Have your photo taken standing on a glass walkway suspended out from the mountain. Er.... That's it. A great view but probably not worth queuing for in reality. There are plenty of other opportunities to take pics of each other with an impressive backdrop, without the wait.

The Dachstein Klettersteig routes are well worth the visit, especially the Irg, Skywalk, and Ramsauer via Ferratas.

Half day trip with kids. It is good to book gondola (lift) in advance (no commitment) and if u have sommercard, lift is for free of value around 80-100 eur per family, great deal. We spent 2,5h up what is enough for all attractions including of walk on iceberg. In summer, surface is wet in ice cave and on iceberg... More

Skywalk on the top of Dachstein is a good fun even though it is better to avoid the summer crowds, generally I find it a bit overrated as there are similar sky walks in Austrian Alps built in higher places.

You can walk out and enjoy the fantastic view even with smaller kids. We went out at afternoon on a weekday, so it wasn't crowded.
