My wife and I decided to pop into this place while having a wander around Vera town. It was cloudy and we fancied a quick drink and a break, this place looked quite busy so we tried it. Left about three hours later, quite drunk, entertained and full of lovely tapas. This isn't a tourist type bar at all, it is a Spanish bar in a Spanish town, run by and used by Spanish people (who tend to speak Spanish!) If any of this is a negative then you might not like it. However, if you are willing to try speaking a little bit of Spanish and doing a bit of guesswork with the menu then you can have a great time here. We went two or three times and always found the staff to be really pleasant and the tapas just lovely, mostly cooked fresh on the grill right in front of you. Great place that I would return to anytime and totally recommend.…

Based on a recommendation we went here expecting some great local cuisine. Our Spanish is very poor matched by the staffs level of English. There are no menu's that we could see. Basically walk up to a counter point out what you'd like to try from the selection on display, take a seat and wait to see what appears. Maybe if there had been any communication it would have helped. Sorry they serve tapas here only. We ended up pointing at food on other tables trying to get that. It was a lucky dip. Some of what we got was very good other dishes well they're probably still on the table. Don't go here if you don't speak at least moderate Spanish and have loads of time. There were just 2 waitresses and they couldn't come close to dealing with the tables. Bill was a lucky guess but at €85 for 2 adults and 3 kids not great for what we got.…
