It is difficult to enthuse about a museum when you cannot see the exhibits or enjoy the terrific history that created Winchelsea. It closed at the end of the summer and won't open until the end of spring.

This museum is run by volunteers and has been very well put together to make it very interesting. The volunteers are very friendly and informative. Lots of old photos and you can learn a lot about old Winchelsea, well worth a visit for £1.50.
