We visited 3 days ago and arrived 1 hour before feeding time to see the Red Kites starting to circle overhead. Crows came in and landed in the next field waiting for the feeding to start. There must have been 200 to 300 Kites and to see their aerial acrobatic skills at robbing the crows of their meat in the... More

Called in to the centre to see the Red Kites feeding. We arrived a half hour before feeding time and we were not disappointed by the sheer number of birds coming to feed. It was quite a spectacle. There are several hides available to view, you have to pay extra to use the "photographer's hide".

Great place to visit for a great view of the Welsh Red Kite - get there at the feeding time for the best views. Really nice little coffee shop as well.

My husband and I enjoy photography and nature so the opportunity to see the Red Kites in such numbers and so close was wonderful. We paid extra to use the Gateway hide which meant the numbers in the hide was limited to 7 which ensured a great view. There were hundreds of Kites which assembled for the 3 o,clock feeding... More

Looking for somewhere different to take two young children (one aged 31/2 and one aged 71/2) we decided to come and see the Red Kites being fed. The spectacle of seeing all those beautiful birds swooping and diving for the food at 3 o,clock was a wonderful experience. We did bring a picnic but the café looked very nice and... More

This place is well worth a visit even if you're not a bird watcher. Set in wonderful countryside this farmer feeds red kites every day at 3pm (summertime). What a spectacle (even on a rainy day) as you sit in the hides in silence and the farmer pulls up with his tractor and shovels loads of chicken out of his... More

We went to this Red Kite experience and to perfectly honest we enjoyed the experience. The kites were amazing. We took our dog into the hide after reading on a notice 'do not leave your dog in your car take it into the hide' After watching the kites we decided to go on the farm walk arriving back at the... We came early and did the walk first which was easy enough but sign post where a bit unclear near the top, wear boots!!! Then went to watch the red kites being fed, amazing to see them all hover over the mountain then swoop down when the food is put out, hundreds of them!!

Been twice, very obliging for disabled visitors. Able to watch from accessible hide. This gives a wonderful view of the kites feeding, a wonderful experience.
