Went there with hubby and our dog (kept on lead). I didn't read the reviews this time before visiting, despite I usually do. We've arrived not long after feeding time (2 pm). Ticket was £6/adult to get in. To be honest, we felt that it was a bit expensive as we thought someone would talk to us about the red... More

We travelled for 3 hours to see the Kites and they didn't disappoint, more than 200 birds performed their acrobatics right in front of us.

There must have been 200-300 red kites in the sky above us. Amazing sight, well worth the £6 entry fee.

Perfect for photos, you've never seen so many birds of pray in one area. A must see for all ages (as long as they can stay focused). Sure its a tad expensive but well worth it.

Simply magical. You can't believe your eyes seeing hundreds of Red Kites feeding on the wing and swooping in front of you. It's one of those places you don't really want to tell people about in case they all come and spoil the magic! If you love birds, you'll fall in love with this place.

Visited here in their first day back opening, lovely way to spend afternoon. Walked around the farm, beautiful views, had lovely coffee and cake in the coffee shop and a browse around the shop. Best part obviously seeing the red kite being fed, amazing to watch from the look out huts. Would def visit again

Called here just about 1.45 as the feeding time is 2.00pm and I think they close the gates. Very close to Rhayader town and well signposted. Well worth the £6.00 entrance to see hundreds of beautiful Red kites quite close up from the hides for a feeding frenzy. They bring the ' meat' round on the tractor to feed and... More

The site of hundreds of kites as well as some beautiful weather made this an excellent day out. The centre is well set up but not over commercialised. After watching the kites, a walk on a well signed trail finished the trip off.
