I didn't expect this to be so dramatic! I thought there would be a few red kites being fed by hand. The spectacle is amazing. 300+ red kites swooping down to be fed. You view this from hides and can see the kites really well. A great experience for young and old.

My first visit and the sat nav took me straight to it. Signage a little lacking but hey I didn't need it. I arrived early because I didn't know what to expect and had the place to myself, others arrived closer to the feeding time. I was greeted by a gentleman who showed me where to pay and some instructions... More

Found ourselves back in the area so made another visit 12 months on. This continues to be a wonderful attraction and deserves to be pulling in the paying public. It is wonderful to see the kites swooping in to grasp the meat, almost dive bombing the buzzards daft enough to be on the ground. Although feeding is timed for 3pm... More

My parents visited several years ago and raved about seeing the birds so,all back in Wales we made the trip today. My parents enjoyed it as much this time round and I was amazed at the spectacle. The birds are beautiful and seeing them up close like this is an honour. There were hundreds of birds and many were still... More

Lots of space on hides to see hundreds of Red Kites being fed. A great chance to take some close up photos, even with modest cameras.

Driving home after a few days in West Wales we stumbled upon the Red Kite Feeding Station. Fortunately it was just at feeding time. A once a day event in the afternoon. The sky is absolutely full of red kites swooping and diving and an great chance to use your zoom or telephoto lens. The hides are great to photograph... More

Camera-mad husband went there to try out his new lens and loved it! The hide is so close to the area the birds are fed that you have a fantastic view of them, unlike some other feeding stations. There is a delightful gift shop and tearoom at the farm where I had home made cake and tea and bought a... More

Time your visit when the kites are feed - you won't be disappointed. The air is chock a block with them, then the peacocks arrive & the littler birds have a go. Brilliant & the children there loved it.

We visited this establishment on our way back from a trip to North Wales. It is easy to find and there is quite a large car park, although I expect it can get very busy during holiday times as the birds are fed once a day. On arrival we could see quite a number of Red Kites circling around the... More
