MUST SEE in Wuhu
Apr 2019 • Solo
I was totally surprised by this park. No admission fee yet it's beautifully kept with beautiful flowers, green grass and trees. There is quite a lot to do as well. I would suggest at least 3-4 hours. The people really take pride in the park and it can be seen by the neatness and great atmosphere. I will recommend visiting this place to everyone that visits Wuhu.

Only thing that annoyed me, the tower at the top of the hill was closed... So you could not enter and the view from there should have been spectacular...

Wuhu's central park
Dec 2017 • Couples
We visited in Autumn and the deciduous trees were stunning, primarily yellow leaves with a sprinkling of red-leaved maples. It's a great park in general, a new vista around every corner. For the uninitiated Chinese gardens are also famous for large rocks and (sometimes rather contrived) stonework plus water features such as small lakes, water flows and fountains besides the expected plants, flowers and trees.
Pleasant strolling will probably also let you see singers, musicians, tai chi exponents, bird fanciers and general fitness devotees primarily of the older generation. There is also a fairly large children's amusement park, a zoo, a mountain climb, statues include a snow white saluting Mao and a Buddhist monastery within the fairly large park and gardens.
Besides the natural aspect it's a cultural experience that is worthwhile for foreigners visiting Wuhu wishing to spend a pleasant few hours.

It's really nyc park situated in centre lot of good scenes... can see open drama on chinese traditional culture, watch people doing acrobatic with sword... singing their traditional songs, old guys playing games... and lot more.

You can see a small zoo in the park along with a Buddha Temple. ..The way is from inside Park and is really good.

Beautifully Manicured Park
Apr 2015 • Friends
Another fine example of a beautifully planned and manicured Chinese park. Enter off Pheonix Street. We visited the park in spring and were lucky enough to see all the blossom trees in flower. Take a walk up to the tiny temple at the top of the hill and get a good view of Wuhu. Watch tai chi or ballroom dancing in the public spaces and see the colourful birds in cages hanging from the trees. A very pretty and peaceful park.
