A relatively easy hike that takes you down and across the gorge from one twon to another. Beatiful stone staircase that makes up part of the hike is probably the greatest draw to this hike. Beware of cow and goat poo on the trail!

It is the best way to experience how the local people used to commute and get goods and all the materials from this one hour stepway to the top where Vradeto is the village with the highest altitude of all Zagorochoria villages. The nature and the spectacular views will pay you off.

a moderate hiking trail that you can climb from the village of Kapesovo to the village of Vradeto and continue to the Beloi or look down in the opposite direction. If you do not intend to complete trek, go at least a bit below from Vradeto and enjoy the view.

Most impressive stairs up the steep hill, making visitors understand the past hurdles of trade across the region (from Konstantinople to the west by foot or donkeys/mules).

Of you feel up to the challenge, you climb them. Else, enjoy the view and continue to an easier hike to Beloi viewpoint, seeing the magnitude of the Vikos gorge at it’s best.

My wife loved this path. She was really exhausted when we reached the finish line. It worthed whole our energy we spent there. Very beautiful nature. Rare species of plants. Snakes ofc (We ve gone summer)!! Really loved that path!! I m trying to organise another trip there to try it with a bunch of friends at October. And also great was the hospitality we experienced when we reached Vradeto.

These 1200 steps connects Kapesovo to Vradeto. It's well made, winding through superb rock towers. Shows the building capacity of the previous era. It's bit steep at places but otherwise gentle walk. Takes an hour going down and 90min going up.

This is a moderate hiking trail from Kapesovo to the village of Vradeto. From there you can either continue to Beloi viewpoint (it is amazing) or go back. The trail is well-paved, but I recommend hiking shoes, especially to go down. Don't forget to look around and look back - amazing views at every point. If you are getting back by foot, then don't forget that after the bridge there is a bit of climbing to the parking lot (save some energy for that).

It doesn't worth to climb stairs and rocks. You can go from the top site of mountain and photo the whole image from there. The time we went there was no water in river.
