Great experience and close enough to Fortaleza to make it easily accessible. Probably better suited to kite surfers and people without small children.

The beach is near Fortaleza (50 minutes from Airport by taxi) and offers good Kite surfing (March not really, brasilian summer months not the best winds, off season). Cumbuco offers some good restaurant and bars, the beach is nice, a bit has seen cleaner days.

If you are in fortaleza, spend one day here, good beaches, crowded but ok to enjoy with friends a good suntan. Be prepared with plenty of sunblock to avoid burns
