    Picturesque Setting for Wine Tasting
I’ve never visited a winery on the beach. Such a beautiful location to enjoy lovely wines and heaping snacks! This was our second stop as part of a guided wine tour and they reserved our table right near the water. Such a great setting for wine.

    Beautiful, quaint, perfect
We loved it, next too the sea… the wines were delicious. Great value for the experience . Our family lives on the island. We have visited many wineries - from the utmost in contemporary design … to this place that highlights all that is natural and beautiful to the island, we would recommend it 100%

Amazing experience & unique tastes! I would 100% recommend this :)
We had such a fun and interesting experience! The view to start with is just breathtaking here. No better place to go for a wine tasting than being surrounded by nature and the ocean. The 8 wines we tasted were all so different & the information we got during the tasting was so so professional and educational. The whole experience was so calm and relaxing, they don’t rush anything so that you are able to enjoy your time with the people you’re with & enjoy the tastes of the wine in it’s purest way. Huge thanks to Stella for making this experience so special for us, to be so thoughtful and fun at the same time and to do more than just your job. You showed us your passion and made sure we took a piece of that with us and that’s such a unique thing to do. Thank you so much :)

First time wine tasting, great fun, relaxed setting.
2 sisters trying wine tasting for the first time. It was a great experience and great fun. We didn't take it too seriously as we are no connoisseurs but enjoyed how Angela our server gave us her expert knowledge encouraging us to stick our nose in the glass, swirl the contents and spit out into what looked like a vase if when tasted we didn't like. (this was not going to happen) ha. To be honest we giggled a lot as they all tasted practically the same to us unexperienced wine tasters. Who would have believed there could be hints of chocolate and butter in wine. We would absolutely recommend as it was value for money under 40 euro for 2. A great setting, relaxed and one off the bucket list. If you are staying in Kamari it is walking distance. The experience lasted for over 90 minutes so if you fancy something different which wont take up too much of your day give this a try.

This was a connection to Santorini and the hands that make wonderful wine!
Our host was amazing. She was knowledgeable, funny/entertaining and more. It gave insight to the difficulty process in which grapes are grown and the hands that make the wine. I feel a personal connection to GAI'A wines and will be looking for them from dealers in the US. Thank you for making our time special!

Don’t miss out on the fabulous Wine & Stella
We visited Giaa on a whim after a few other wineries. Stella was great she greeted us and presented us 4 local wines they were deilcious. She was very easy going and made us feel very comfortable despite the Gail force winds. This is a must visit for any winery tour on the island. Thank you so much for our great time! We will visit again soon!

Lovely wine in a great location
We popped into Gaia winery on spec, having seen a great review. We were not disappointed! The lovely Stella showed us to a table & we opted to taste 4 of their wines for 16 Euros. They had a number of large parties visiting, so we felt lucky not to have been turned away. Stella was personable, knowledgeable & humorous. The setting is idyllic, set on the coast & it was great to understand more about the wines & the vine growing process in the area. Good to hear that they export to the UK too! Well worth a visit, but probably best to book in advance, to avoid disappointment.

Delicious and Educational Wine Tasting and Tour
My husband and I really enjoyed our visit to Gaia Winery. We were given a private tasting with a cheeseboard for €26 per person which felt like a reasonable price for what we got. The woman who poured the tasting did a good job explaining the wine business in Santorini as well as how each varietal is made. Our tasting was followed by a tour of the winery, which has some unique processes we have not seen before in other wine regions, such as California or Italy. An added bonus is the location, right on the beach. A lovely place for a few afternoon glasses of wine.

After checking out Trip Advisor and the Gaia opening hours we decided to walk to the winery as it was a cloudy day. Despite the opening hours of 11am to 7pm they were not open to visitors. Wasted trip.

First of all, the young lady who did our tastings was amazing, much friendlier than the ruse lady who greeted us. Our young lady was very knowledgeable and very passionate and that was lovely to see. However....having been to vineyards and winery's all over the world, I have to say that this was the most disappointing.
The view is fine and you must expect the gale force winds but there is no plan in place for when your table is being lifted up. That was the smallest issue. The next smallest issue was the tasting sizes. Very small given the time between trying the next wine. The wines were all lovely but I booked a wine AND cheese tasting. We were bought a very small portion of cheeses with the second wine and it was evident that this had been out for a while. In addition, while we were expecting different cheeses to be paired with each wine, this was not the case. This is NOT a tour. It's paying for 8 small glasses of wine and being shown a picture on cardboard of what the vines look like. If you're after an actual tour, this isn't the place for you. If you want a relaxing atmosphere, this isn't the place for you (every 15 mins a plane is directly over your head). If you thought you'd have cheese and wine, this isn't the place for you. But, that said, if you want to sample some lovely (small) glasses of wine then it's just about passable. I'm sorry it was not better.

We loved our wine tasting experience at Gaia Wines. Set directly on the sea front, an amazing host guided us through tasting 6-8 wines sharing the wineries interesting history. If you’re looking for a personal, relaxing and interesting wine tasting, we can’t recommend this experience enough!

The view of the winery is beautiful. On entrance there is a quaint tasting room with a gorgeous Greek feel to it. The wine selection was pristine and the staff are all so friendly. The food was beautifully presented and tasted gorgeous. Our wine expert Konna is a credit to your team, made is feel so welcome, friendly and treated us as individuals, not just customers. Konna made the day in the end, catered to all of our needs and was very professional

This is a great location, right on the beach and you get to try some wines. We did the 8 flight and upgraded to a cheese platter which was nice with the wine. You do not get to see any winery, production, vines etc. The website is a bit deceiving on that. That is a little disappointing. Our tasting person told us nothing about the vinegar or the shop. Could you buy anything? You just sit next to the beach and try wines. Just tasting size so you do not have too much wine. it is out of the way so had to grab a taxi from Fira to get here. Made it quite an expensive expedition.

A lovely scenic view of the sea; under the shade of a huge tree so not too hot! Wide selection of wines with interesting info to go along with each. My dad and I did the x8 wine experience - very reasonable price and it didn’t feel rushed or pushy. Some tasty snacks provided too as a bonus!

For the last day in Santorini we decided to book a tasting at Gaia Winery.
We were greeted by Stella, a competent and sunny girl who immediately put us at ease.
The winery is literally located by the sea and its wines fully reflect the characteristics of the place of production and rich in personality.
All the wines tasted met our expectations starting from the fresh fruity Monograph agiorgitiko to the Assirtiko 2022 a skilful blend of passage in steel, wood and amphora.
We had the opportunity to visit the cozy and clean cellar where in addition to the worn steel tanks, the barriques and Clayvear amphorae are on display
Good because here in these sunny lands it is not easy to get balanced wines especially in alcohol.
We couldn't leave without buying a bottle of them first.
I wanted to take more but the suitcase was not very roomy to keep them all.
