Nice area to stroll on a quiet afternoon

We bought some terrific local art and it was packaged correctly and made it easy to travel with and resonably priced.

What a great way too spend a couple of hours or more , if you are into the arts. Certainly different and educational pieces. You will find anything and everything. From the wild too the extremely cultured. Must see when in Bucerias

Every Thursday night the Art Walk draws a large crowd. A chance for visitors to mingle with the locals as well as the artists and local business owners Everything from jewelry, clothing, art, food etc. It is an event to check out while visiting the area. You will not be disappointed with their warm welcome.

We drove over to Bucerias from the nearby Nuevo Vallarta hotel area to try and find some nice shopping. The local market in Bucerias is centered near the big cathedral in the old town square. we enjoyed the Art Walk and then dinner at Mark's. The Art Walk is just down the street and it was delightful. We bought some beautiful tiles (just made weight on the flight back home) and wished that we could have bought more. Love Bucerias!

Thursday evenings local galleries are open offering refreshments ,a chance to meet with the artists, watch some demos and of course purchase some art. Many of the galleries are also open during the day but there is something very enjoyable about wandering the streets in the evening after a nice dinner at one of over 200 restaurants in this town.... Several galleries open their doors Thursday nights from 7 - 9. We had a fun time gallery hopping and viewing wonderful pieces. Bought a couple of things from artists, and wishing we had more money and room for more! We'll be back next trip!
