This is an amazing spot to stand particularly if on top of one of the La Thuile ski trails. On a clear day Monte Bianco and the alpine ridge can be seen for ever with the clearly distinct peak of the Matterhorn in the distance....More

On a very cold day for skiing this was a nice place to warm up and to have lunch. The size of the pasta-dish was a little bit small my boys thougt. The lentil soup was pretty good!

We skied down to San Bernardo, beautiful ski runs and a lovely cafe at the bottom. Coffees were gorgeous and excellent service. Ski lift is a comfy chair lift too

We drove from the Italian side into France and then back....such beautiful and stunning scenery throughout. There are places to stop and park and picnic along the route, along with cafe's, restaurants dotted around...but fortunately not over developed!

Summer or Winter this is a great location - In the winter the road is closed and you have to ski. Fantastic views - and some good places to stop for a meal or a drink (summer and winter).

Good food, great service, and at a price you'll be happy with. Not too far from the slope and you ski in on what in the summer is a road, speed limit signs and street lamps - weird!

One of the most beautiful/spectacular passes in Europe, between France and Italy. We have passed it many times. Particularly spectacular in the summer when one can drive through and or trek around the paths. Dotted with lovely restaurants as well. Pass is closed in the...More
