Likes: - Mind blowing beaches, perfect water - Unique history - Friendly, caring locals - Sense of going back in time/roughing it a bit: although Castaways/Porter's Island Thyme is definitely not 'roughing' it, you are still 'out there' at the edge of civilization. Dislikes: -...More

This gem is only a five minute flight from Grand Turk! You don't have to worry about booking accommodations as you will be taken care of. Our only regret is only spending three nights here but there were fabulous. It was so nice to get...More

The diving is beautiful, the people are lovely, and the atmosphere can't be matched any where. If you have the opportunity to travel to Salt Cay, do it! It's life changing!

10 days of peace and quiet, punctuated by loads of diving, beachcombing, and a little snorkeling(Surf was a bit intimidating due to weather while we were there). Free-range donkeys never woke us up, and neither did the free-range chickens. Bit weird to see Donkey Dung...More

This is truly an island to totally relax and decompress. If you like being waited on hand & foot it's not for you. It's just peaceful and beautiful and populated by the friendliest people. It is my little piece of paradise.
