Wow. We were looking for a simple, not too challenging walk on New Year's day. This is the place. Three trail options are clearly marked, ranging from a flat, simple walk which would suit almost anyone. No more challenging than a walk in a typical...More

Had this walk recommended to us by our B&B hosts and it did not disappoint. A truly lovely start to the day. There are three paths to choose from, one easy, one medium a, one strenuous with more of an incline. Each are about a...More

Great walk on 3 different levels around the lochan & Forrest. Easy walk to a wee bit more of a climb but all easy enough.

Each of the 3 walks are about 45 mins long. We did the yellow and blue which were a little more strenuous than the other. We found them pretty easy. Although this isn’t the place to go if you are serious about hiking, we enjoyed...More

We took the blue trail. Some steep and rocky parts, but not bad. Pretty view of the little Lochan. Forest and streams were quiet and scenic.

There are three walks in the Glencoe Lochan. Each is well signposted and the paths are good even after wet weather. Depending on your energy you could do one or all three. Each walk is about 30 minutes so you could probably do all within...More

We just fancied a little heart-starter, and this place was suggested. From the car park, there are 3 walks, yellow, red and blue, and they vary in “difficulty” with yellow being a low-level woodland walk, red also low-level, around Lochan, and the blue (which we...More

It was raining reasonably heavily as we arrived at Glencoe Lochan so we put on our wet weather gear and headed around a couple of the walks here. The scenery was not lovely and it was nice to get out into the fresh air, albeit...More

There are three beautiful walks here, all together they all probably take max one hour. I spent an extra half an hour taking pictures of the pretty lake.

There's a car park next to it or you can walk 10 min from the village. There's a choice of 3 trails with different levels of difficulty. One of them is also suitable for wheelchair users. It's a beautiful short walk with great views.
