One of my favourite places to visit. Beautiful scenery and views, very peaceful. There are Several walks all which skirt the Lochan itself. Anytime of the day but definitely in the evenings when the sun is setting, it is simply stunning. Definitely worth a stroll around.

We were staying very close to the Lochan. Unfortunately there was only time to walk up to the part of the Lochan which is closest to the car park, but you still get lovely views from there. It was a still, fine day so the reflections in the water could not have been better. Don't miss Glencoe Lochan if you... More

Great place for an easy walk. There are a few trails, we took the one around the lake. Wide gravel trails make it a great place for families with small children. Easy to get to and beautiful views!

It was raining when I visited here, but it didn't matter. The forest is great and the loch with ducks is very beautiful. Calming and peaceful place. :) Different routes to choose, or you can take them all! :)

Beautiful place to visit. Such a calming place to be, there are a few paths you can choose depending on your ability. Such a lovely story that the local people will tell you regarding the Lochan.

Peaceful, breathtaking and a must see. If you prefer a low level walk , this is stunning. Great for a gentle stroll to admire the nature and serenity of the lake.

You must visit this place if you are passing Glencoe . You can drive your motor vehicle up to the car park and continue on foot ,which is a very short walk to the Loch. There is also a disabled route which is flat and has stunning views along the way. There are picnic benches along the way which also... More

There are 3 signed walks at the Glencoe Lochan and the most picturesque is just round the Lochan however I also enjoy the forest trail. Every time I walk round the Lochan I think to myself, 'how lucky am I to have this on my doorstep'!
