Tynemouth Market has something for everyone, from dog treats to cupcakes, hand painted glassware to vintage finds, toys, bric-a-brac, craft items...You name it, you can probably find a stall that sells it! The food stalls and coffee are amazing, and Bennies Macaroons are a must!

The market and the station in general is a regular visiting. We like Saturday best because it is more of a flea market and we get lots of quirky items. .Also you try out the Platform 2 bar, a lovely spot for a drink

Spent a lovely hour walking around here on Sunday. Great stalls, selling really unique items, appropriate to all ages & interests. Great food stalls on site selling delicious food. Well worth a trip out from Newcastle.

Well worth a wander around for half an hour or an hour, when you get off the Met. Some interesting handmade fashion jewellery at reasonable prices.

The market is within Tynemouth Metro Station so very handy for public transport. It's got an eclectic range (plants/antiques/comics/vinyl/jewellery/crafts) and plenty of good food stalls. It's under glass cover so we enjoyed the blue skies and avoided the slightly chilly north east wind.

On a recent trip to Tynemouth Market I bought two inexpensive chine figures of Heidi & the Goat herder for £4. They are not some hidden gems but they are as the picture shows quite nice. The main reason for this review is really a...More
