We decided to take our grandchildren to T J’s jungle one wet Saturday to entertain them. From the minute we arrived they loved it. We did not see them for nearly an hour (when they wanted something to eat and drink). The food and drinks were reasonably priced and of good quality which is always good as the kids burn up the calories quite quickly. We will be back.

Being the parent of a 4 year old I'm able to class "Soft Play establishments on Tyneside" as my Mastermind Specialist Subject.
TJs is one of the better ones, at least from a parents view. There's a good sized setup with plenty slides, swings, climbers and things to bounce off. It's priced reasonably (around £4 per child) and easy to get parked.
The real reason to go here though is the food, toasties for £2.75 come with salad and coleslaw but the winner is kids Bolognese pasta with garlic bread £3 odd for a good bowlful topped with cheese and served with a drink. Whatever you get though it's all good quality.
Give it a go.

visited here on numerous occasions with both my children and also been to party's here. a big play area and an area for smaller children. the thing i liked about here is all the food is branded and a good selection. sometimes it can be quite noisy but at the end of the day it is a childrens play area, but if the tv is on with sport and music in the background it can be noisy. plenty of magazines and newspapers to read. all in all one of the better play areas i have been to.

Took my two children for the first time the other day and stayed for tea.
£3.95 for a child's meal which consisted of 3 fish fingers and 4 smiley faces... No beans, peas or sweet corn. Just fish fingers and smileys. Needless to say I had two hungry children when we got home!

Tj's is a good soft play but the kids get very hot and it soon gets boring. I think they need to refurbish it.

Very clean, easy to see where people are in the soft play from your table. Tables quite crammed together but it wasn't very busy. Noisy but that was the children playing in soft play not really TJs' fault. Food, sweets and drinks are all available for a reasonale price. Lunch was well worth the money as it was all delicious, the most you can pay for a meal on the hot menu was £4.50. You get big plates full of food. Very well heated and the toilets are all clean and the place itself well looked after. WiFi is available for free.Magazines and newspapers are available. You only pay for the children to get into the place adults and anyone not going into the softplay are free.

This is our second visit. Going at 10am is great as really quiet. The children really enjoyed it as well as the tasty lunch.
We traveled from Whickham and though there are closer ones this is by far the best and worth the trip.

Been here on many an occasion for birthday parties. it's a large soft play with a good size area for smaller ones, however the seating area for adults is small and tables are very crammed. Food is the usual fayre of burgers, breakfast sandwiches etc...It does get very busy and a few times while in the soft play with my 3 year old have noticed it could do with a bit of a clean. Not my favourite choice of soft play for the boys.

My friend is 16 (going on 17) and wants to visit this place because she went when she was ten and she very much enjoys soft play centers. Can she go? (She does not have a child to accompany her.)
