Great massive garden centre with lots of different items on offer. Large cafe serving a good range of food and drinks however food we wanted wasn't available. Friendly staff throughout garden centre. Clean place to visit and plenty of free parking

Don’t have the jacket potato’s from the restaurant. I had one with prawns. It came out with with no sauce on the prawns and the jacket potato was rock hard.
Horrible food.

Always thought this to be one of the better garden centres around. It seems they have lost their direction. Great little play area for the kids though.

We visited Brigg Garden Centre for the first time as a Christmas Santa experience for our special needs daughter. I had booked our time slot earlier in the week so we were directed straight away to the que area on our time slot arrival. We were met by the elves who were really good with all the children and were very engaging, after making reindeer food and a special magic key the children were taken through to see Mr & Mrs Claus. Santa was amazing really good with every child and the adults were entertained with his frankness to the children who needed a word or two about their behaviour. Our daughter is mentally younger than her age so she was very excited by the whole experience and it really did make her day having Santa ask her about joining the school choir.
As it was the first time here it would have been nice to spend more time here and take our time to see each area and floor but with a child with special needs their attention span is often very restrictive.

Last year we had the most magical time with you, however we have left today feeling very disappointed.
The biggest let down was the time spent with the elves. It was clear the two elves who were hosting the children didn’t really want to be there. They lacked energy (one repeatedly yawning throughout) no engagement with the children other then to ask for there favourite Christmas food and to hand out a pre-made bag of reindeer food. I left knowing that one of them really wanted Chinese food for tea! They sang 2 songs half heartedly and we left with a cardboard key! Last year was so different. The elves took time to make it special, did ‘baking’ let the children help with the reindeer food. We left with a wooden hand made decoration which we still have, the cardboard key from this time is already broken.
The time spent with Mr and Mrs Claus was lovely, they really took the time to interact with each child.
We were also disappointed that we didn’t receive a small Christmas tree as we did last year or got our tickets for the train ride. I understand times are hard and cuts need to be made however when we are paying £20 per child to receive such poor service, this is not acceptable.

Well we have taken the chrilderen most years to the garden centre at Christmas to see Santa and all the light and displays but this year was the worst. Inside was cold and deplays not a patch on previous years.
The centre has always been pricey but we paid for the atmosphere but everything seemed like less effort was put in. We didn’t see Santa as the children are now teenagers but decided to pop in and do the ice skating.
The skate was all blunt and didn’t fit and made it impossible to skate on the plastic floored ring. Not ice. No real atmosphere and the ring was small.
We will not be going next Christmas unfortunately.

Some of the prices in the main shop vary from reasonable to expensive.
BUT the cafe is a complete and utter rip-off, especially since covid. This is the first time I have been back since, and it was absolutely dire.
Sky-high prices for small slices of Brake's (?) mass-catering cakes. Here's a clue - Pontins serves the exact same cakes, on a help-yourself basis.
But at Brigg Garden Centre they want 5 quid a slice! What a laugh. And forget the cake of the day 'deal' where you got a slice of cake and a cup of tea for £3.50. Discontinued as presumably not a high enough profit margin.
A small cup of tea for £2.25. And forget it if you want almond or soya milk - because they didn't have that in the main cafe. Premium prices. Truck stop cafe product.
So £2.25 for a small cup of black tea.
Terrible service too. You might think for the money, you were paying for a Betty's Tea Room experience. But instead you are greeted by a sign along the lines of 'Don't even think of queuing for you food and drink as a group - only one of you is to queue and place an order!'. It was also absolutely freezing in the cafe.
So, poor service, a freezing room, small slice of very unremarkable cake and small cup of tea at the price of an entire meal out at many other places. Don't stay until anywhere near 30 minutes before closing time either or they start sweeping around your table and looking at you!
I will never be back. How it gets so busy is beyond me, when money is supposed to be tight!

Always a fab garden centre to visit especially at xmas. But i do go throughout the year as they put lovely themed displays on. the cafe is massive and do a FABULOUS carvery and a normal menu too. great desserts. Brigg easily has the best xmas display and decorations around. I travel from goole east yorkshire and so do many others in my town. Would always reccomend.

Very disappointed today, went for breakfast, produced my family card and was charged full price for English breakfast. When asked was told that I should have said I wanted the breakfast special as it is a smaller portion than normal!! That is not how it is described in the advert! This was at brigg garden centre today.......
