The cascade isn’t really that impressive, but the road there was a great workout. I would recommend choosing warmer clothes and packing some water for the road. The cascade looks better in reality than in pictures.

The place is a little bit hard to reach, and it's dangerous when raining. Make sure you have proper boots and proper clothes for mountain climbing, plenty of water, and don't climb when it's raining ( awesome experience, unnecessarily dangerous).
Although once at the top level there is a nice forest walk through the thick Transylvanian woods, the actual waterfall is underwhelming to say the least.
The signage at the start from the cable car station is not clear so just keep following along side...More
First I visited Cascada Urlatoarea when I was a kid, and now I was again to remember my childhood. A beautiful fall easy and fast to access (about 45 min walk). Not the best or highest, but very much on my taste.
