More like a mansion with short history. Parking is little bit tricky so we left car next to the road. Entrance with guide is 40lei/person but not really worth it. We have seen about 10 rooms that looked like someone confiscated all the furniture. There was some art trying to mimic past and there to buy in a way. Pretty dull tbh. The guide also sounded lacking enthusiasm. There are so many more better castles in Romania.

Beautiful castle, I strongly suggest to take a tour and learn more about it. We were impressed. There is also a gourmet restaurant where you can eat very good, but expensive food.

I highly recommend. So far, my favorite castle visited in Romania, because of the design of the floor, walls, where are printed symbols which reflects the beliefs of Cantacuzino family, masonic symbols, paintings of members of the family, ancestors painted on the glasses bought from Murano at that times when the castle was built. At the second floor you will find traditional paintings, furniture with very interesting design.

Few rooms, no attractions, no furniture. Only one room with some wall paintings. Price was high for what it had to offer. Not much to see inside.

The castle is beautiful and is an impressive construction from the outside. There is not much to see inside, so we were disappointed. The price for the visit is a bit high, but the view from the castle courtyard is amazing.
