I have visited this one a couple of years ago and I must say that i was really really not impressed with what you can see inside of it!
The gardens are great, the building looks interesting too, but everything only from the outside and...More
On a tour following Bran Castle we stopped here for lunch. The best thing about this castle is its setting among the Carpathian Mountains. Spend time outside and eat in the outdoor area so you can watch these mountains in the distance. We did not...More
First of all I was shocked about our tour guide. Tours are free, and start every hour, with a free tour guide. I must repeat, I was shocked at the knowledge the tour guide dispensed. He talked, not only about the rich history of the...More
Castle is devoid of any periodical furniture or art, guides are clueless and could benefit from a visit to WikiPedia and the "tour" is a short walk through empty spaces. Magnificent views but poorly managed.
Had a group meal here. Great view of mountains. Had mushroom soup thick and tasty. Followed by chicken with mushroom sauce good and tasty. Finished with chocolate mousse tasty. Friendly helpful staff . Well worth a visit

We were very surprised to find a beautiful garden with a breathtaking view to the mountains. The visit into the Castel is mandatory guided, but short. Don’t skip the art collection. And take a cake with a coffee on the restaurant terrace.

Even if the tour is not very long it's worth visiting and listening to the guide. Guided tours are available every hour. Meanwhile you can spend time visiting the sculptures in the garden or participate in the outdoor activities available.
It’s my first time here. It’a surprise to find this castle in a working class resort. There are few indicators where to find the castle but you have to pay a visit here. Something between a mansion and a venetian palazzo that is called “The...More
