This is where the Ria Formosa starts on the East side of the Algarve. Totally worth a visit. In the summertime there are lots of eating options, but in the wintertime you are better off bringing a picnic.
Maybe it was closed for the winter which is understandable in February.
It looked interesting and we may have gone in if it were open. Nice little village to explor4e and amazing views of the coast line. Check this small village out.
