Don't waste your money!

I really don't understand why this place is so well rated. Entrance is 190, 220 with a boat ride (if you'd get that in the park it would be 50). In the beginning you see some statues for different philosophical schools and you get some information on them. Then you get to a village area where you find shops. There was some water park attractions, but they were closed as it was too cold. After that you reach the amusement park district. All the rides cost additional money, mostly 20/30. Then there's the ancient ruins district. That's where the boat takes you through, as well. It's pretty, but you basically see green trees next to a river for 20min. The explanations on the cruise are only given in Mandarin. You can also walk there by foot. It's a very large area with like 3 things to see (don't let the map with 20 points on it fool you). The best there in my opinion where the mini ducks on the river, even though there were too fast for pictures. I attached pics for everything else. See for yourself, if you find that worth your money. The zoo is not included in this ticket.

This is a park, not ruins
Dec 2017 • Friends
We went here without reading the reviews and we were surprised and disappointed. Do not be mislead by the cover photo and name. This is a large park with one old tin building and the land used to be part of an old city but nothing remains but the single house and a couple of water wells. The park is quite nice and would be very beautiful in spring or summer, but this was definitely not the ruins that we were expecting. Thankfully the entry to the park was only 20rmb, there was literally no one else at the park and you can walk through everything within 1.5 hours.

A park without ruins
Apr 2017 • Solo
It is a strange name to give a park but at least reading previous trip advisor reviews I was prepared for what I saw.

The park is fairly spacious and there was a small entrance fees. There is plenty of open areas and walking tracks and the blossoms were starting to bloom so the park was gaining some beautiful colour.

If you travel to this park be careful that the driver does not drop you at the Yancheng amusement park. If so you will have a little walk to find the right location, unless you decide to go into the amusement park which is quite large.

The other interesting site to see in this area is Boalin Temple. This Temple is beautiful and for me was more interesting than the park.

Only other piece of advise is that it might take a little time to get a taxi as it is slightly away from local shopping area or other attractions.

Peaceful Place to Relax
Jun 2016 • Friends
It's a quiet spot, away from the city's traffic and noise, but don't go expecting 'ruins'. There are some earth banks that formed the original town walls and the moats that protected it, but you need quite an imagination to get much from them.
Cover up because there's plenty of stagnant water in the moats that's home to bugs.

We went one afternoon with a group. My ticket was bought for me, so I can't tell you the price. But basically, it's a nice place where you can go to get some greenery in :) There really aren't too many ruins though. As I understand it, ruins were found there and then shipped out to other places. Overall, it's a nice little way to spend a day if you're looking for something to do in Changzhou. I wouldn't say it's the most important thing to get to though.

Peaceful

A peaceful ruin in Changzhou. It is lovely for walking around. It has the zoo and the theme park next door but I think it is not worth visiting there.

Nice and peaceful
Apr 2015 • Couples
Go on a sunny day. It's a very nice park and a lovely place for a picnic. There are next to zero ruins to see but there are signs everywhere telling of the history of this place in English, Chinese, and German.

It takes about 1-2 hours to walk around the whole place. It costs 20rmb/adult and 10rmb/student, children, seniors. This does not include the amusement park.
