Great place for recreation

Enjoy this park! It's a nice mixture of nature and the art of gardening within Changzhou. And it is direct next to the grand pagoda :-)

A beautiful garden made up of ponds, pavilions and pagodas. Though surrounded on all sides by the noise, smell and heat of Changzhou, once in the park you are transported to a relaxing, restful place. Worth noting that Tianning is separate to the park.

This park was probably the most beautiful part of Changzhou that I experienced. The nature in the park is a fantastic representation of Jiangsu's natural beauty. The backdrop of the lakes and greenery creates a very relaxing atmosphere. Also, throughout the park, you have an excellent view of the world's tallest pagoda. Many of the scenes in this park feel... We went to Hongmei Park in June, thus there is no plum blossoms...it is an open park where the locals go to enjoy. We went there by Taxi. Upon entering the park, we saw a group of ladies exercising through dance. There was a crowd watching them. Walking a little further in, we saw a group of people practicing TaiChi... More

Considering the rest of Changzhou shows the signs of hustle and bustle this is an area if tranquility. I have to admit that the part is really clean and nice to relax in

I live in Changzhou and I can't get tired of Hongmei Park. Every season I'm delighted to see different scenery and I get never disappointed. It is not that crowded if you go on a weekday, perfect place to enjoy a sunset!

Hongmei Park is a must see in Changzhou. The park is more like a garden, meticulously curated with a wide variety of flowers. Paths wind through ponds and streams. Just breath-taking.

Simply put, this park is so perfect. I would describe it as a garden park as there are so many beautiful plants and flowers in bloom. The park is so well kept up and you can tell that a large effort goes into making it beautiful. There are rows of roses, terraces with ivy and lovely flowers. It's pretty good... More

The large grounds of Hongmei are well manicured and landscaped. Dominated by the temple tower and filled with water it is a very pleasant place to explore and walk around. Worth a visit when in Changzhou

The park is a nice place to take rest. It is about 2km from the train station and very near to the Tianning Temple. The park is free to go but travelers are advised to climb up the tower, which should paid RMB5 as entrance fee, in the park to get a look over the park from a higher point... More
