Great Breakfast,
Jun 2019
Dinner was awful. Breakfast was amazing. Best ricotta cheese I have ever had. Can still taste it a year later. Spent one night here after arriving in Rome for our three week stay around Italy.

Wonderful place in Fuimicino city near the international airport. Highly recommend an overnight stay before that long 20+ hour flight home. Pools, Spas, Turkish baths, aroma Showers.

Looking up at the stars from one of the 3 outdoor hot pools was a highlight.

Restaurant+comfortable rooms. Opens 3-11pm

If you truly wish to walk in the footsteps of the Romans after experiencing Rome, this is the place to do it. The villa in which the hotel is located is stepped in history. The location is a short distance from the airport and a taxi to and from usually is around 15 euros. The hotel grounds are perfect as are the beautiful rooms, which are the essence of wellness. We were upgraded to a gorgeous suite, with our spa experience. The Roman baths or Terme themselves are an experience not to be forgotten, you will step back in time through the various spa rooms and baths. In the evening their is a complimentary Roman feast of cheese, cold cuts and drinks for those in robes only, which is just like a Roman party back in Ancient times. The staff are welcoming and helpful for the most part, we were charged for drinks we didn’t have, so I would say check your bill before you pay, but otherwise this is an experience I highly recommend particularly if you are flying out after your stay.

Last hotel stay in Italy
Sep 2019
My husband and I stayed just for one night. Because the following day we will be traveling back to USA. Our Expedia agent recommended this hotel because was very close to the airport. We were happy. we like the hotel, very nice and clean. The food at the restaurant was good at dinner time. Also the buffet breakfast was delicious. A lot of fruits, vegetables, meats, etc. etc. We were very pleased with the food and the service at the hotel.

Hotel Stay better than spa experience
Sep 2019
Threadbare towels and robes. Smokers everywhere. Rude staff around the spa area. Overcrowed, in fact, more people that could be absorbed for the size of the facility. Dirty means change area.

Now our hotels stay was wonderful. The room was excellent, the hotel staff was excellent. The restaurant was wonderful. The food was exceptional. I cannot rave enough about the hotel. I loved the convenience and proximity to the airport.

Our travel agent thought we'd stay for our last night after a month long wonderful, fantastic vacation in Italy in order to relax, unwind and prepare ourselves for the long journey home to California, but she obviously didn't not read the POOR reviews as well as the excellent ones as we do. We arrived at the"wellness retreat" (hahaha!!) which is anything but!! They serve FRIED vegetables and sell day passes to all the locals who care nothing about health and wellness, they SMOKE everywhere!! We thought this might be the one place we could get away from all that! If this place had the true intention of providing health and wellness, they wouldn't allow smoking on the property. If they respected they paying guests, they would provide a GUEST ONLY area with pool and Jacuzzis. But it's VERY clear they do not give their guests any priority whatsoever. We put on our robe and slippers as we were asked to do and tried to find a pool or spa to relax, but there were so many couples sharing tongues and scratching their privates in every single and spa that we didn't have any desire whatsoever to enter the waters! At the happy hour (we only found out about after reading Trip Advisor) there were ash last 200-300 people shuffling about in their plastic slippers g (different than paying guests of the hotel) loading up on food as though they hadn't eaten in days, we turned around and left to finally found a quiet peaceful corner where we could have some tranquility, but watched almost every single person walk by with a cigarette. Do not recommend at all!!

Stay away

It is not a 5 stars amenity . There is not thermal water .The 5 stars hotel area is mixed up with the crowd coming for the outside to spend the day and especially during the weekends there is too many people.

We ended a two week trip in Italy at this hotel as near airport for next morning. Well everything went wrong and instead of telling you the whole emotional story I will share the key points:

-room was not as advertised on hotels.com (they do NOT offer twin beds even though the site says they do)

-the pool has 100s (yes hundreds of people in it); the hotel said they had 900 guests that day for massages etc and they all get access to the pool; so at 9pm it was like a nightclub in water; maybe for Europeans this is OK but I assume most Americans wouldn’t want to share the pool with that many people especially considering the advertise 50 room boutique hotel- they leave out you share pool with 900 others

-one room smelled like very strong cleaning solution of chlorine and alcohol

-the taxi they booked for me didn’t come, so had to wait longer for another one, they said I could pay by card (I specifically asked this question as I had no cash left) and when I get to airport to pay the taxi driver took cash only

-hotel lacks normal four-star hotel amenities like hair dryers and good WiFi (couldn’t FaceTime USA, lack of bandwidth)

-the rooms are in a building that has a fancy restaurant in front and around it so you shuffle through the dining area with all your luggage, it’s very awkward and uncomfortable for those having dinner

-rooms were very worn, they said it’s a old farmhouse so this was part of the charm... please.

- MOST importantly they were rude, everything was my fault. They made ZERO effort to understand my concerns and even attempt to address them. I wrote an email to hotel prior to this review and there response again was we are so sorry you had this experience but basically your problem. No effort to try and understand reconcile for any offer of compensation apology or even basic appreciation that I had spent over $700 (two rooms) for one night.

Awful

End of Our Trip Surprise 2019
Sep 2019
We concluded a 12 day Italian and Grecian vacation at this beautiful oasis. What a treat for us to discover how relaxing a hotel and spa resort we booked within just a few miles from the Rome Airport. It allowed us to catch up on some much needed R&R before our long trek home to the USA. The rooms were not opulent but comfortable. The grounds were amazing with some relaxing jacuzzis, pools, outdoor lounging areas and indoor spa saunas hidden all around. My favorite area was the outdoor sauna in the maze area with a glass roof that allowed you to look at the stars. There nightly happy hour served us some yummy wines and appetizers of cheeses and meats that was perfect for our last day. Will definitely stay here again if returning to Rome but maybe for an additional day next time.
