The park is full of character and great place to walk on sunny days. Getting there requires to coordinate a transportation especially on weekend but it is a really nice place to explore especially the weather is fortunate enough to be sunny. I visited a couple occasions in different seasons and found it out quite charming each season.

Probably the most beautiful park in the country, always open to the public, but never too crowded. The castle is very charming, and so is the park, whatever the season. A wonderful place to walk around or to go for a run, or just to enjoy a picnic on one of the large lawns. A wonderful place.

A wonderful walk to get here through Sonian forests. A this gorgeous chateau at the end with manicured gardens!

Was walking through the woods in the cold weather. The scenery was beautiful along the way and when I saw this Chateau de la Hulpe, my legs just took me faster. It was like a little castle in a fairy tale and you could just imagine how beautiful it would be to stay in this place forever. Honestly, as you... More

Beautiful Castell, even more incredible gardens/park, huge and very suitable for a sunny day outside (just reading or doing outdoor activities). Bring a bike if you want to take the most out of it. You can take the train from Brussels and then walk there (still a bit of a walk, but pleasant). Also, don't miss checking out the Fondation... More

What an amazing park! Chateau is surrounded by forest with nice walks to enjoy at any season! There is a café that is open on weekends and waffle car comes by as well (near the entrance).

A great experience with my daughter when I visited this place a few years ago. There were musicians on the street and petting zoos. all was done in great style and ambience was great. The food stalls were less but interesting with candies and ice creams. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a time out with... More

We have been during the autumn taking profit of the nice colours the nature is offering. There is a Brasserie with good bears

We visited on a beautiful sunny day! We took a long walk through the grounds and ended up at the Chateau. There are sculptures on ground to view as well. We had a great meal in the tavern on the property too! Highlight of our trip!

This is NOT a destination - do not drive way out of your way for this. It's a nice place to run, walk or bike; the home is lovely for an outside picture, but that's it. Very nice grounds to wander.
