Welcome to Terratour Nosara, where you can travel to and from Nosara to any destination in our comfortable and safe vans, while our drivers show you the beauties and curiosities of the Pacific area in Costa Rica. All of our vans have the mandatory insurance required by Government Authorities, Instituto Costarricense de Turismo (ICT) and the National Insurance Institute (INS). All of our drivers are natives, so they can teach you many things about Costa Rican Pura Vida culture. In addition to transports all around Costa Rica, we can also help make your Costa Rican adventure an experience of a lifetime with some of our great packages and tours we offer!

Honestly, no words could do justice to the experience I had with this company.
I was stuck in Costa Rica due to the coronavirus and was due to leave on the 17th March. I had my transfer booked for then but due to the virus I had several flights cancelled resulting in a forced change of travel dates.
Firstly, this company swapped and changed and worked around me incredibly understandingly and refused to take any extra payment for the inconvenience.
Secondly, on the day that my transfer was due to leave he arrived promptly, 15 minutes before and as we set off my flight was cancelled yet again. My driver, sadly I have forgotten his name, had zero hesitation is his answer when I asked him to drive me an extra 2 hours into the scheduled time to get me to the main airport over in San Jose.
This would be at an extra cost but he didn’t make a fuss he politely drove me there immediately. He could tell that I was anxious due to travelling alone and being many miles away from home and my family and he did everything he could to put my at ease. Including providing food and offering to buy a drink from the shop during the long journey.
Needless to say, I have used many private transfer services in many different countries and this was by far head and shoulders about be the rest.
I will be returning to Costa Rica as Nosara was one of the most beautiful places I have ever met, both the scenery and the locals. On my trip I will be using Terratour Nosara without any hesitation!

My husband and I were both transported (but on two separate dates) by Terratour Nosara from Liberia Airport to the Playa Pelada area of Nosara and then back to Liberia Airport for our return trip home.
They were so reliable, professional, and friendly! The minute we both had our luggage and walked out of the airport, our drivers were already standing outside holding signs with our names!
They safely and efficiently got us to Nosara. My driver even stopped at the grocery store, at 9pm, on the way to my Airbnb so that I would have groceries! He went above and beyond to help me in the store too!
When we were picked up at our Airbnb in Nosara, to return back to Liberia Airport for our trips home, both times the driver was early!
Zero hitches along the way. Jhon and Miguel could not be recommended highly enough as drivers!
Make sure to download WhatsApp to keep in contact with the company for any address or time changes - it's easiest just to call them but they do reply to text messages as well!

Shared shuttles from Nosara to Liberia airport are at specific times which were not aligned with our needs. With Terratour we were able to book 2 seats in a "shared van" at the time of our choosing but we were the only passengers, and the cost for 2 was less than a private shuttle with any of the other companies. Good prompt service and pleasant driver.

I used TerraTours multiple times while hosting a group retreat of 20+ people. They were always on time, kind and courteous! One of my guests left her phone in the van and they returned it to her the next day. They also held luggage for a few others who arrived early in the morning before they could check in to the hotel. Recommend!

We were met at Liberia Airport by a lovely lady driver who offered us a cake and fresh ice cold water once we were loaded up and in the minibus. Wi-fi on board helped the journey pass quickly and we were even able to stop at a supermarket to stock up with provisions before heading to our accommodation. Would highly recommend this company.

We used this company to bring us to the airport at the end of our trip. They were punctual. There was only one other passenger in the van other than my husband and I. The van was well air conditioned. The driver gave each of us a morning treat for our journey.

Shuttle was reliable and price was significantly better than private taxi. Driver did not speak English but was very friendly. Stopped at fruit stand along the way and got me a fruit salad free of charge. Van also had water bottles on board. When we got stuck at an accident, driver found a detour to keep us moving. Very reliable. Would use them again.

Freddie and his crew at Terratour Nosara are hands down the best. They have a large fleet of various size newer vans and shuttles, all in excellent condition and well maintained. Comfortable seats, A/C, complimentary water and fresh fruit (for the 2.5 hour trip from Liberia airport to Nosara/Guiones), and friendly, safe drivers. Their prices are competitive and pick up is at your door ... what's not to like?! Don't bother searching for other transport companies: just contact Terratour and you can thank me later.

Even though our flight was delayed and the line-up at immigration very long, the driver waited for us. The driver was courteous and professional. And he stopped somewhere to get us some water and fresh fruit. That was a great welcome to Costa Rica.

In May 2017 my husband, brother and sister-in-law visited friends in Nosara and booked a shuttle from the Liberia Airport to Nosara and back to the Airport 10 days later. We also used terratours for a couple of short trips around the area. We had 3 different drivers and they were all excellent, and on time or early for each trip. We recommend them highly and would use them again without hesitation! Thank you Terratours for making our visit even better than we had hoped.
